Kitchen Improvements

For my birthday present, Cayce decided to have our kitchen wall redone. It was just a plane piece of olive green- brown wall and it was not my favorite. We have a neighbor who is a very close friend to Cayce and he did our wall last week. It was a very high anxiety time for me because everything was out of place and I couldn't use my kitchen. They did it late a night with some nights with Cayce not coming to bed.

We started cleaning everything and moving the stove and table. It was an high anxiety time when the stove was moved.

My favorite out of the three options

The most was done on last Monday night. On Tuesday morning, this is what my kitchen looked like so far.

On Tuesday night, the rest of the tiles were put on. It is completely finished with trim up top and on the sides. Thanks to Cayce and Reuben for my birthday/ Christmas present.

Christmas 2015

Our Christmas this year was amazing. Cayce and I had our gift wrap date night this week and it was so much fun to watch the girls tear into their presents. I know it will be better as the years go on. We woke up around 8 and the girls were already awake and waiting for their alarm to go off, but instead we went ahead a got them. We had to wake Addy up though and she was not happy until she saw the presents.

Cayce took one girl at a time and made them cover their eyes and they had to face the kitchen with their backs turned to the Christmas tree. It was so fun to count to three and have them all turn at once.

They immediately ran to the tree. The first thing Sammy picked up was the frog, Addy picked up the duck and Ariana got one of the white bears and then she spotted the pink one. Those were free reign to whoever.

Sammy got to play Santa this year and she handed out the presents. She picked out some that were for al three of them first and then she went and picked individually. I have so many pics but I am only going to post a few.

This is what I got for Christmas along with my other gifts.
I made Cayce two music playlists that he can listen to. One is Smallville season 1, and the other is Smallville season 2. I found a website that has all the songs listed from every episode and I went to Spotify and got to work making those playlist for him and he listens to it every chance he gets.

Sammy got her Ariel doll.

Addy got candy

Addy got a Frozen Elsa dress.
This chick LOVES Frozen

got some gloves in their stockings that will hopefully be used sometime this winter.

the little Olaf came from my Influenster voxbox.

Samantha and Ariana also got a new TV for their room

Christmas Favorites 2015.

After all the present were unwrapped and the girls were occupied. Cayce decided to nap in his chair and I got started on breakfast. This was around 10am. I saw a recipe last month that I had to make for Christmas morning. It is Biscuit and Gravy casserole. It is so delicious.

After breakfast, the girls played and watched the minions again, while Cayce and I slept for about another 3 hours. The girls were surprisingly occupied and we got a very good nap in that rarely happens. When we woke up, we started cooking our Christmas dinner and then we went outside to play with some of the new toys. Now, in the pictures my kids are wearing summer clothes. That's because it was close to 80 degrees outside. It didn't feel like winter at all, especially since I got bit by mosquitoes.

A few hours later, we had our Christmas dinner. It was ham, homemade mac and cheese, green bean casserole and deviled eggs. It was so damn delicious.

After dinner, we got ready for bed. Addy made it to the couch before she knocked-out.

It was a successful and awesome Christmas. The girls were happy and that made Cayce and I happy. I hope you all had a Merry Christmas. Now let's end the year 2015 on a positive note.
