Grandparent's Day

I shared three posts today on Facebook about my great grandmother, my grandma, and my grandpa.

Here is the post about my Grandma Dooley
*Happy Grandparents Day to my Grandma Dooley! I love you and miss you so much. There are some days when I want to come visit you and just sit with you and I can't do that anymore. I wish you could have met Adalyn and I Know you are watching over us and that you are not in pain anymore. and happy 92nd birthday for yesterday. WE LOVE AND MISS YOU!*

Next I did a post on my grandma.
*Happy Grandparents Day to this wonderful woman right here. My Nan. She was always there for me growing up and she is the best nan a girl could ask for. I love you!!!! *

The next post was about my grandpa. He has been gone for 10 years now and it's still hard to this day not being able to talk to him. This picture was taken in 2003. The last good Christmas he had. The next Christmas he was on chemo and napping all day and couldn't focus on anyone. The only thing he could focus on was my brother's ears when he took his gauges out and stuck his thumb through one of the holes. It freaked my grandpa out, and he made the most serious face he could and said eww!, like a preppy school girl and made everyone laugh so hard.
Happy Grandparents Day to my amazing grandpa. He has been gone for 10 years and I think about him constantly. I hate that my babies will never know him and I know for a fact that he was watching over Addy after she was born. I miss you so much grandpa.*

I have other 2 more grandfathers that I gave shout outs too, but I won't post them on here.

Happy Birthday Mama!!!

Today is my mama's birthday. This woman has been the best supporter yet my biggest critic. She loves fiercely and is protective of those close to her.

Barden Christmas 2014

Our Christmas morning started around 7:30. As you all know, I AM NOT A MORNING PERSON. So, with that being said, I am not in any of the photos because I was looking rough. My kids all look rough with bed head because they couldn't contain their excitement obviously. And Cayce, well, let's just say the guy was not enthusiastic about being woken up. We definitely got our karma this year for all those years of waking our parents up early. Well played karma, well played..

How can they have so much energy so early in the morning.

happy baby

this was her big present.

loved this

my favorite picture

he had to work to unstick the slinky. made me dizzy.

After presents were opened and living room trashed, we popped in Elf and got cinnamon rolls in the oven. Cayce reclined in his chair and I got on the computer to wish my family a merry Christmas. Yea, we don't call each other, we Facebook each other. Something is seriously wrong with that picture. Around noon, we got dinner started and the kids were still playing. Cayce and I wanted to take naps.

That was our Christmas day. It was cold outside but it didn't rain like the previous years.

My Great Grandma

My cousin Cynthia made this video to show at her funeral. She was the best. She was my family's rock. We miss her everyday, but we are happy that she is no longer suffering and she is watching over everyone of us.

Happy Birthday to my Daddy

Today is my daddy's 52nd birthday. He is the best dad in the world. Sure, I am biased, and have to say that, but it's the truth. He has always been there for me and he is the most selfless person I know. He will do anything for the people that is closest to him.

He works so hard and has always been that way since I came along. He is more than a step father to my brother. He is loyal and he is an amazing grandfather. He was there all 3 times I delivered the girls and he came up to see them every day until they got to come home.

He taught me and my brother almost everything we know about fishing and doing roofing work. He taught me to value family and to respect my elders and to never give up on the things that matter most.

haha, we were in Atlanta, Georgia in 2006 for a baseball game and we were watching fireworks going off at 6 flags that was right down the road.

Treston's 16th Birthday

My cousin Tricia's son turned 16 earlier this week, and there was a surprise party planned for him. We got him some art supplies and some money for a tattoo that he is saving up for.
Here are some pictures from the party.

My Great Grandparents

Homer and Juanita Dooley

These two are the BEST great grandparents in the ENTIRE world. My Grandma and Grandpa Dooley. These two are the meaning of true love. My grandma died in November of last year and she was definitely the rock in my family. Life has certainly not been the same without her, but she is no longer suffering. My granddaddy has not been the same without her.

I Love You Grandpa Dooley. I Love and Miss You Grandma.

Great Family Morning

This morning was fantastic. Cayce had to go pay a bill, so we went to Wal-Mart and got some things. I ended up getting two new shirts and a pair of orange sunglasses. We ran into an old friend that used to work at the old Movie Gallery in Swansea, and we also ran into my brother and sister in law. Cayce treated us to subway for brunch.

I had to get it. It was only $3.00

When we left Wal-Mart, Cayce had to look for a radioshack so he could return his broken Bluetooth. Needless to say, we couldn't find one, so we ended up going into Best Buy and he bought the new Motorola Buds and he got me a new pair of lime green Skullcandy ear buds. I LOVE THEM!!!

I love my girls. It was chilly this morning, so that's we had long sleeves.

Waiting to checkout

my new ear buds.

When we left Best Buy, we walked down to Target. I haven't been to Target in a long time, so it was fun browsing, and watching the girls try to push the big red balls outside.

When we got inside the store, Cayce treated me to Starbucks and he also bought a new office chair. It feels so amazing and my back no longer hurts. When we got home, he had to go straight to work, but he put my chair together before he left and I'm glad he did. Before I put the girls down for naps, we had a little photo session with my new sunglasses.

I can't wait till Adalyn is able to join in on these fun photo times.
