It's a BOOK REVIEW TIME!!!!!!!! Ok, The Titan's Curse is the third book in the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series. This one is my favorite so far. The character of person has grown and I love how right at the beginning of the story there is IMMEDIATE action. I love the characters Bianca and Nico. I am going to try to not spoil the book for ya'll out there in the world that has not gotten the chance to read it yet.
There are so many new characters in this book and I feel a lot more action. I also loved the hunters and how the author used popular and well-known landmarks and connected them to mythology and that was freaking mind blowing. Ever since the first book, I have had this crazy notion in my head that the Empire State Building in New York really has a 600th floor and it houses Mount Olympus.
And now to my anger.... I have never wanted to jump inside a story and punch a character more in the face for being a total dick head.... YES I AM TALKING ABOUT LUKE! Usually I like villians, but nope, this fool is just..... I don't even have the words to describe it. Luke is the only thing that I am not looking forward to in the last two books. I am hoping that his character goes away in the next, but I HIGHLY doubt that.
So there is my review for the third book, I am excited and anxious to start the fourth. The title has intrigued me from the start because when I was a senior in high school, I took a mythology class that I passed with flying colors and earned the highest grade out of everyone who took that class in my school. Yep, mythology nerd!!! But anyways, the weeks we learned about the labyrinth, I was focused. It was so cool. I don't think I paid attention to the stares I was getting because of my growing belly and being the only other senior in a class full of freshman. I didn't have to take this class but because I moved out before my senior year, I couldn't leave school early after taking my required classes, so I had to stay all day and take classes I didn't have to take. Needless to say I graduated high school with 32 credits when the required amount was 24 credits. But yea, a review and some rambling... here you go.
ENJOY!!!
