Lowe's Workshop: Captain America

Here is my Lowe's workshop post. This 2nd Avengers Assembly workshop was Captain America. Now, Captain America is Cayce's favorite superhero. I love batman and he is not an avenger. Anyways, the girls know way more about Captain America than any other Avenger because of their daddy. They love the movies and had an absolute blast.

There weren't any pictures taken because Cayce explained that the build was extremely tough and everyone's little motorcycle was breaking apart. So here are some after pictures.

I rarely look inside the instructions books even though I do keep all of them with the certificates, and Cayce showed me this and I thought it was just the coolest thing. But the thing I am concerned about is how much space it's going to take up once I iron the patches on to the apron.

Percy Jackson and The Olympians: The Titan's Curse Review

It's a BOOK REVIEW TIME!!!!!!!!  Ok, The Titan's Curse is the third book in the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series. This one is my favorite so far. The character of person has grown and I love how right at the beginning of the story there is IMMEDIATE action. I love the characters Bianca and Nico. I am going to try to not spoil the book for ya'll out there in the world that has not gotten the chance to read it yet.

There are so many new characters in this book and I feel a lot more action. I also loved the hunters and how the author used popular and well-known landmarks and connected them to mythology and that was freaking mind blowing. Ever since the first book, I have had this crazy notion in my head that the Empire State Building in New York really has a 600th floor and it houses Mount Olympus.

And now to my anger.... I have never wanted to jump inside a story and punch a character more in the face for being a total dick head.... YES I AM TALKING ABOUT LUKE! Usually I like villians, but nope, this fool is just..... I don't even have the words to describe it. Luke is the only thing that I am not looking forward to in the last two books. I am hoping that his character goes away in the next, but I HIGHLY doubt that.

So there is my review for the third book, I am excited and anxious to start the fourth. The title has intrigued me from the start because when I was a senior in high school, I took a mythology class that I passed with flying colors and earned the highest grade out of everyone who took that class in my school. Yep, mythology nerd!!! But anyways, the weeks we learned about the labyrinth, I was focused. It was so cool. I don't think I paid attention to the stares I was getting because of my growing belly and being the only other senior in a class full of freshman. I didn't have to take this class but because I moved out before my senior year, I couldn't leave school early after taking my required classes, so I had to stay all day and take classes I didn't have to take. Needless to say I graduated high school with 32 credits when the required amount was 24 credits. But yea, a review and some rambling... here you go.

ENJOY!!!

Percy Jackson and The Olympians: The Battle of the Labyrinth

These books just keep getting better and better. I was seriously doubting these books after the first one because I thought it would be like the same obnoxious and crappy 12 year old monologue, but it has gotten better.

Father's Day

Happy Father's Day. Today didn't go as I had planned. Cayce had to work and couldn't ask for the day off. Addy woke up sick from the blueberries she ate last night, and was miserable all day. The only thing that made the day awesome, was the my dad came by with some plates from the BBQ that my brother was having for my grandpa and dad. But overall, we had a good day minus Addy getting sick.

see my sick baby..  :(

They loved the food. especially the potato salad and baked beans

Dont Wanna Dance Alone..... love this song

I love this song. I love the harmony and beat and everything. At first when Fifth Harmony first came out, I thought it would be just like every other girl group that wouldn't get much attention or would and then burn out.... example would be the UK girl group... The Saturdays. I loved their music and was a modern day spice girls group but since their show on E, they haven't been in the media much. I hope we have music from Fifth Harmony for many years to come and doesn't burn out anytime soon.

Lowe's Workshop: Iron Man

Lowe's is starting the coolest series of workshops. They are doing The Avengers' for this summer. The first was Iron Man. That's my favorite avenger and I was happy that it was first. The girls enjoyed it. They really don't watch The Avengers Assemble much on Disney XD, but when they got back home, we watched all three Iron Man movies.

I loved these little headpieces for their goggles.

These are their friends that are at every workshop. The girls always offer to help them if they need it and vice versa, although the girls offer a lot more.

Weekend @ Granny's!

After the girls had their workshop on Saturday, They came home, grab their bags and went straight to granny and papa's house for a swimming weekend. My mom and dad bought them a pool to play in and they had some serious fun.

They got some tan lines that bring back memories. I used to get so burnt when I was little. Pool or beach, I would turn into a freaking lobster.

The funny thing is when they got back home, they were planning and asking which day could they go back. It was hilarious because they ran to the calendar and put their calendar reading skills to use...lol.

Home Depot Workshop: Trucks

So the girls went to their first Home depot workshop this morning. They had an absolute blast. They got to build trucks and they got to paint. That's what excited me. They don't get to paint in the Lowe's workshops. They had paint all over them when they came home, but they went straight to my parents house for the weekend so they took their trucks with them, so no pictures on those.

I love the pins they get for their aprons but the aprons themselves I HATE!! They are so flimsy and the material is something that I steer clear of.

I love my girls!!
