It's the last day of January. What the hell???? It seemed like this year just started and it puts even more pressure on me because May 21st will be here before I know it. These hauls will be ending the week before that date because we will be ending our year on May 13. I don't know if I will resume these hauls next school year. But anyways, on to the haul>>>>>>>>
1. Hachi: A Dog's Tale
We have been wanting to see this movie for a long time, and we are finally going to watch it.
2. Kung Fu Panda: The Legend of Awesomeness: The Midnight Stranger
The girls liked this show so much, we had to find more.
3. The Runner
This will be a date night movie for us sometime this week
4. Listen to My Trumpet
Independent ready for Sammy
5. Martha Speaks
I have never heard of this series before I got a couple of DVDs for the girls from my brother. It should be a good one since there are so many.
6. Bears in the Night
Got to love the Berenstain Bears!!!!!
7. Wreck it Ralph.
I finally watched this movie last night and it was amazing. I knew what it would be about because we read the book last week. That's the strange thing about me. I want to read children's books last if they are a movie first and vice versa for book then movie..... do you understand??
8. Kung Fu Panda: Legend of Awesomeness: Good Croc, Bad Croc
We watched this one all day yesterday. I think we are going to watch the second one tomorrow. These are so good, I just wish they had the original cast from the movies to also do the voices in the show!
9. Sherlock Holmes
Who can resist Robert Downy Jr and Judd Law. We watched this movie right when it came out and we own the second one which is weird because usually we own the first and then sequels but never sequels and not firsts. We are a weird bunch if you have not noticed.
There is this week's haul.... a little movie heavy.

School Week 24 Recap
This week went by super fast. I am exhausted. It was a good, productive week. We had early starts pretty much every morning except Monday and Tuesday.
Monday: We had a late start to the day. We started around 11:30am. We did morning work and puzzle.
They requested that we read every single one of the library books and it took us a good 45 minutes to read them all. After me reading aloud to them, they wanted to have quiet time and Sammy proceeded to read every word she knew from the books she had picked out.
The rest of the day, they both did computer work.
Tuesday: We started the morning off with playing Sorry. It wasn't a late late start to the morning, but it was 20 minutes later than I normally like to start. While they were playing Sorry, I was cooking breakfast.
After a round of Sorry and breakfast, they had their quiet time and then worked on puzzle.
Wednesday: Today we started at regular time. Morning work and puzzle is our normal everyday thing that they do. We read 3 favorite library books, and went to quiet time.
I decided to let them watch some Youtube videos today. I have a little playlist that I follow and it has nothing but Tinga Tinga Tales episodes on it, and so they watched 6 episodes today and after each one, I had them summarize it and draw pictures from that episode.
They enjoyed that show so much. I even laughed it was funny. They will be watching some more episodes in the future, probably if we have another sick day or if we have a make up day.
Thursday: Today was just a rainy and crappy day. I deemed it a relax and summarize and draw for me day. So we watched Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, because it fit with the weather and then we watched the sequel. I had some fun with them. I had taken out a roll of hamburger meat to thaw out for supper and I pretended that I was going to throw it out in the rain and it was going to make meatballs.... long story short, I got tackled and the word NO was screamed into my ear.
After the movies, they worked on their daily notebooks and ended the day with quiet time.
Friday: We had a good day and it was very productive. They had separate quiet times today and they both got some computer work done.
It was a productive week. May 21st will be here before I know it and they still have a lot to learn before then.

Seventh Generation Laundry Detergent Review
Woo Hoo, another product review!!! This is from the website Generation Good. It is formatted and just like Smiley360 but not Smiley360.
I received 3 free samples of Seventh Generation laundry detergent. Two for me and one to give to a friend, that I passed on to my mom. My husband and I have been wanting to try this laundry detergent for years, but it was never in our budget to be able and we didn't know if it would actually clean our clothes.
The first load I did with a satchet, after the load was done, my clothes seemed so much cleaner. They felt softer and they looked brighter. The liquid was clear and it came out watery, and it was unscented, which I kind of prefer a scented laundry detergent.
I will buy this product, but I will only use it for my whites and delicates.

Buddhism For Dummies
It took me longer than I wanted to read this book. I took my time reading it and also I coudn't stand to read it or anything for a couple days because I was sick as a dog. I enjoyed this book so much. Usually people just skip around the book, but I read it cover to cover and it answered so many questions I had from Buddhism for Beginners. It answered some questions I had about death and suffering.
I loved reading the whole story about Buddha and how he left his royal life to learn about suffering and everything. I would love to take a pilgrimage to all the sites listed in the book that he visited. I would also love to take a trip to the Buddhist communities in the U.S. I love reading about the well known Buddhists in today's world. My second favorite part of the whole book, was reading the Dalai Lama story.
I will be using the appendix in the back that list a lot of books more on the subject of Buddhism. This book will answer a lot of questions and give you a lot of information on the subject.
