New Year's Eve

Happy New Year's Eve everyone. I had a good day. I got the house cleaned but not deep cleaned. I got Samantha started on her lessons for the week. Her lesson theme is sheep this week. It's a good thing that she has a lambie stuffed animal, so I can teach her the difference. Cayce worked a little bit of overtime today and came home around 5. He went and got some chinese food for me because I haven't eatin anything today.

Budd is here and him and Cayce are outside burning wood and trash, which is like a New Years Eve tradition that started last year. The girls are in bed asleep. I'm watching New Years Rockin Eve celebrates Dick Clark. I watch this every year.

100th Post and Birthday Presents!!

This is my 100th post. I'm so excited. I didn't think I would blog for so long. I thought I would quit like after a week. It's hard to believe that I have been blogging since July. I'm ready for a new year. Now on to my birthday presents.

Weekend News

My weekend has been going great. On Frdiay, I did my household chores, and watched the new Ghost Adventures. Cayce went to bi-lo and got another laundry deal. We didn't fight as much. Yesterday, we took the tree down. I was so happy to take it down, now my living room feels bigger. I can let Addy crawl around without worrying if she is going to knock something down on top of her. I ordered a teeth whitening system off Swagbucks. I can't wait to get it.

I'm sort of disappointed with myself because I wanted to blog everyday this month, but I slacked majorly. I still have so much to tell. I have to talk about my birthday presents, and my goals for this week, and my resolutions for the new year. Today, I'm going to get Samantha's school week in order, and clean my kitchen. Cayce has to go to work tomorrow from 9-4. I don't like the idea, but if he doesn't go, he wont get paid.

I have a list of projects I want to get done, and I will post those later. But, the next post I will do, will be about my birthday presents. I have been thinking about AJ this weekend. He hasn't noticed that I'm not friends with him on Facebook anymore. I really like him, but I don't know what to do.

I have some cleaning and picture taking to do. I will be back in a little bit to post about my birthday presents.

I need a new outlook.

I have been thinking of alot lately and how my relationship with Cayce is, and if I'm happy or not. I talked to AJ tonight, to just get things off my chest because I'm there when he needs to talk. While we were talking, he just kind of brushed me off and so I have finally unfriended him. I don't need that distraction anymore in my life.

Prep.Curriculum: Week 16

This week's theme was butterflies. She knew was it was the second I walked into the living roo with the poster. The vocabulary word was antenna. On Monday, she colored two pictures of butterflies.

 

On Tuesday, she reviewed the color purple. She went around pointing out things that are purple. I gave her a pass day on Wednesday. On Thursday, we did the letter P and the number 16.

 

We didn't do school on Friday because it was my birthday. She has an off week because it Christmas but she will resume next week, and head into the new year doing great.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!

Merry Christmas. It has been such a good morning here at Barden Palace...lol, I just nade that up. The girls got so many toys and Addy had a great 1st christmas. Samantha got her bike and Ariana got plenty of toys to keep her occupied. Adalyn played for 30 minutes and passed out....lol. I got Christmas dinner started. Having a honey glazed ham with a green bean casserole, corn muffins, stuffing, and deviled eggs. I am going to post 2 more times today. One will be Sammy's school week, and the other will highlight my birthday gifts.

Birthday and Today Update

Yesterday was my 22nd birthday. Cayce cooked me breakfast, and I watched Ghost Adventures ALL day. It was awesome. My mom came and spent some time with me and played with the girls. She got me a smores kit, and she made me a chocolate covered cherry cake. I love this cake. She made it for me last year, and fell in love. Cayce brought me a sub home from subway for lunch. At the end of the day, my nerves were on end, because Samantha was misbehaving. Cayce got the car back last night, and he came home and cooked me my birthday dinner. He cooked chicken with carrots and red potatoes, and his mac an cheese. He watched the new Dead Files with me last night. I ordered Cayce's second christmas present, and I know he wont get it before Christmas. I had so many of my friends on facebook tell me happy birthday yesterday, and one of them was AJ. I am still friends with him, but he went back to his no good girlfriend.

Today, we went to our car insurance company because Cayce won a $50 walmart gift card. We stopped by Hobby Lobby because we need a new tree topper, but they were all out, and the place was packed. I had a horrible panic attack on the way there because Cayce's driving just scares me. We walked around the store and my anxiety went away. After, we left there, we went to KMart which was a HUGE mistake. I hate going to store during the day, because of all the crazies. I will stick to going shopping 2 hours before closing at night time. My nerves were on end, and I was starving, so we stopped by Burger King.

We are going to walmart tomorrow night. I have so much to do around the house, so I will be going now.

I Had A Panic Attack Today

I have been stressed out all day. Cayce got the car late this morning, and went and got the car realigned and hour before our salvation army appointment time. I was nervous the entire time he was gone. Just thinking about it, gets me worked up. We got so many toys for christmas, and very little food. We will definately being doing stuff a bus again next year.

Cayce came home around 3, already 2 hours late for work and I was going crazy. He just kept wasting time and eventually left 30 minutes later. I keep wishing that he will work all day on Monday. Yes, he has to work on christmas eve to get paid, which is total bs, but we need the money for our high mortgage payment, and light bill.

My nerves are on end and will be till we get these bills paid. I'm going to try really hard not to think about it on my birthday. Cayce wants to take me to dinner on Saturday for a birthday dinner, but I don't want to go because we don't have any money to spend on eating out or shopping.

Pissed Off Kinda Day

I have been in a foul mood all day. It started when Cayce checked the mail. Our mortgage bill and light bill were in. Not what I was expecting. Our light bill is 30 dollars higher than last month and I know exactly who the culprit is.....THE CHRISTMAS TREE. I will not be lighting it until christmas night. The mortgage went up in November because of our house taxes and the county being retards and not putting in their system that we live in the house, and the taxes were 700 dollars that was eventually refunded to us, and our payment still hasn't been lowered.

The car will be finished tomorrow morning. All the mechanic had left to do was the oil. He called Cayce around 3 to tell him that and that he would do it in the morning. He closes at 6, how come he couldn't fix it in the 3 hours he had left. So now, Cayce has to wait and go up there around 10 and then take it across town to have it realigned and pick up the girls christmas at 2:30. Needless to say, I am having a panic attack.

I'm ready for my birthday and for christmas to be over. I'm ready for a new year and to celebrate addy's 1st birthday.

I'm waiting on UPS to deliver the wipes. I hate when they say that it will be delivered at the end of the day, which I don't know when that is. I don't have any packages on my porch. I ordered the Wii turbo wheel and shooter gun last night. Now I'm working on a screwdriver set for the house. Cayce has dozens of screwdrivers and always loses them, so I'm getting a set for us to use inside.

I Had A Great Weekend!!

I spent the entire weekend with Cayce and the kids. On Friday night, Cayce came home and cooked neckbones and rice with some field peas and snaps for dinner. We played with the girls and had a tea party. On Saturday, Cayce and I spent the day doing relaxing things but spent time together and the girls played and watched tv. Cayce got a new game and he played it all day on Saturday and I was doing swagbucks all day. We didn't do any household chores, and we went shopping. We got some more food, movies and neccessities for the house.

Yesterday, We cleaned the house and I sent Cayce to Kmart and Bi-Lo. He got the meal deals from Bi-Lo and Cayce got some more things that we needed. I made beef stew in the crock pot last night and it was delicious.

I have been working my butt off on Swagbucks. Hopefully, I'll be getting the big box of wipes tomorrow. I'm working on getting the Wii Turbo wheel and gun for a game Cayce bought the other night.

This morning, Cayce took the car to the mechanic to get it fixed. That car had a bunch of problems, and it will be fixed today and wednesday. On Wednesday, the car will be getting realigned and tires rotated. We also get to pick up the girls christmas presents from the Salvation Army.

Well, I'm going to go cook supper.

Rescheduling Samantha's School

We took this week off from school because everyone in the house was sick. So I have rescheduled the last 10 weeks and she will be ending her school in the beginning of March. We will be resuming our work on Monday.

I bought Sammy a alphabet preschool workbook last night from walmart. She is having some difficulties with letters, so we will be working out of her workbook after this school year ends, which will be March for her and we will be doing the workbook until August of 2013. She will start the Sounds Curriculum which will be 36 weeks long.

I also want to send my prayers and thoughts out to the children and their families of the school shooting in Connecticut today. Finding out about this today only pushed and finalized my decision to homeschool the girls for good. This world is not safe and I will not be letting my children out of my sight.

Prep. Curriculum: Week 15

The week's theme was rain. I'm not going to go into much detail for this post. I will describe what she did on the following days, but I just don't have the energy to detail every day.

On Monday, I printed her a picture of a rain storm.

On Tuesday, I gave her the day off because she was helping me around the house to clean it up and make room for our groceries. On Wednesday, I burnt my fingers, and had to go to the doctor. She colored her oval's on Thursday and also did the letter O.

On Friday, she did the number 15.

This week, I'm giving her a break since we are both sick. We will resume her school next Monday.

 

Weekend Update

The weekend was rocky for me. My fingers bothered me and and Cayce worked all weekend. he had his work christmas party last night and I got a cold. Im being beatin up. I have so much to do today, but I dont have the energy. We got our dresser yesterday and I have to put our clothes so we can be a little bit more organized.

I'm going to go take a nap.

Burned Fingers

Yesterday, I planned on posting, but to my non carefulness, I got burned by steam. I was cooking some lunch in the microwave and I grabbed the plastic film and BAM, intense burning and stinging. I cried because it hurt so bad. I never got burned so badly. I had to call Cayce home from work and have him take me to the doctor. They put silvadene on it, and immediate relief.

It was hard to do anything last night, I couldnt do any chores and Cayce had to wash my hair for me.
I had to double up on Samantha's school work today. She did good though.

I have a big blister on my right index finger and it is the size of my fingernail. The blister on my middle finger is not that big.

Well, I'm done with the computer for tonight.

Prep. Curriculum: Week 14

The week's theme was horses. She has only been up close to a horse once, but will point them out in a heartbeat when we are going down the road.

The vocabulary word was mane. She didnt understand it. She kept calling it hair, so we went with that. On Tuesday, the color was brown. Since the interior of our house is brown, she caught on to it quick. On Wednesday, we did the letter N. I didn't take any pictures.

 

I gave her Thursday off from school. She was well behaved and she helped me around the house. On Friday, we did the number 14.  have to help her remember to say 12 because she will skip it and got to thirteen and keep repeating.

 

She is just gettin big too fast and she learns more and more everyday. A year ago, we couldn't understand a word she was saying and she was still in speech.

Short Post

This weekend has flown by. I didn't have a really good day today. I was disappointed with tonight's episode of The next iron chef redemption, my favorite chef went home. That sucks. I'm still trying to reach my personal goal on Swagbucks for today.

I will post about Samantha's school week tomorrow.

HAPPY DECEMBER!!!!

It is finally December. It is EXACTLY 20 day until my 22nd birthday, and possibly the end of the world. I just realized that I was a slack blogger for the month of November. It went by so quickly. I have a goal for myself this month to workout and blog everyday this month.

Now to update on the past three days. On Tuesday, I stated that I talked to a friend that I haven't talked to in a long time. His name is Aaron, but everyone calls him AJ. He is one of those good ole country boys. I met him when I was a sophomore in high school and he graduated while I was in 8th grade. He is the cousin of my then best friend. The first time I spent the night with my friend, I had an instant attraction to him, but she told me that he was no good and that she didn't like the idea of her friends dating him. I had feelings for him, but also had my heart broken a few months before meeting AJ and liked someone else at the time.

The few times I went over there I would hope that he would talk to me, but everytime he was with his then girlfriend and their son Sean. Nothing happend. We lost contact and I found him through MySpace. We started talking and he came over one time and nothing happend. he met Cayce and Sammy when she was a baby. A few months later, he became engaged again and had another son, Hunter.

Tuesday night, I let everything go. I don't know what came over me, I just wanted everything off my chest and he just broke up with his girlfriend Mandie and they are on again- off again. I just don't know what to do. I'm happy with Cayce, but I'm thinking, should I give AJ a shot or should we have tried to have a relationship years ago. I don't want to mess things up between Cayce and I. I don't want to lose my family and everything I have. So, I have decided that being friend with AJ is not going to work out because I will always think what if, and I can not jepordize my life for a fling.

Anyways, the rest of this month will be about my family and I. I plan on working out and getting my life on a better level.

Good Two Days

I have been having a great few days. Yesterday, Cayce and I started rearranging our bedroom because we are finally getting a dresser. I can get boxes and tubs out of my walk in closet. Sammy started a new week of school. Yesterday, was an easy day and it flew by. There was a fun swagcode extrvaganza going on and I worked my butt off.

Today, it was rainy and cold, so the girls couldn't go outside and play, but I had a good day. I'm almost done with Adalyn's closet. Then, I have to rearrange her room. She is starting to jump up and down in her crib while holding on to the side. it is so funny, because she will giggle and wiggle at the same time. I talked to an old friend, that I haven't spoken to since my junior year of high school.

Going to go spend some time with my hunny now and watch tv and eat some brownies...YUM.

Prep. Curriculum: Week 13

This week was all about cars and trucks. She loved it. The vocabulary word was gasoline.

She kept calling it daddy's car. I tried to find a coloring picture of the car that Cayce loves.
On Tuesday, we did the shape of a rectangle. She did an ok job drawing it.

On Wednesday, we did the letter M. she traced the outline all by herself. She can't do the little curves of the lower case m.

On Thursday, she had the day off for Thanksgiving. I was going to do some Thanksgiving crafts with her, but we were gone all day.

On Friday, we did the number 13. She is having trouble writing 3's.

WE'RE ADOPTED

Our family has been adopted for Christmas. Our neighbors who live down the road is doing a thing for their church and she has decided to adopt the girls. Her and her husband came over yesterday to meet the girls and give us a list of what the girls will be getting from them for christmas.

I'm so excited, I'm glad that the girls will be getting something for christmas.
We also signed up for stuff a bus,and the girls will be getting toys from that as well, and we will be getting food too.

Happy Thanksgiving

I had a great Thanksgiving. We went to Aiken and spent the day with Cayce's aunt. It was so fun. The girls had a blast paying with their cousins and they are knocked out. I loved being able to travel, I absolutely love car rides to different places and spending time with family.

I made a blessing loaf this morning for breakfast and it was amazing. I will post recipe and pic later.
Sammy didnt get to do her Thanksgiving lesson today, so, I'm going to have to triple her lessons tomorrow. I hate putting so much work on her in one day, so I'm going to break it up. One lesson after breakfast, after nap, and before dinner.

Well, I'm going to bed now. I am beat and I have so much to do tomorrow so we can get our tree up.

Plans for the rest of the week

We have alot to get done before Thursday. Tomorrow, I have to make some more progress on the kid's closets before the weekend. I have this huge tub of baby clothes in my living room and I have to go through it, and pull out bigger clothes for Addy and get her smaller winter clothes and take them to Once Upon a Child.

I'm working really hard on swagbucks to be able to get another box of wipes and get Cayce his other present before christmas. The way it seems, I might be cutting it close, but I'll eventually get it.

Tomorrow, Cayce has to go in, in the morning because they are not working tomorrow night. It might be a half day or it might go till 5 or 6:00. I have so much to do tomorrow. Samantha didn't do school today, so I'm going to double up on her lessons tomorrow and get her Thanksgiving lesson ready for early Thursday morning before we go to Aiken.

Hoepfully, I'll be able to post tomorrow night.

Great Weekend

I had a fantastic weekend.I watched tv all day and I missed Cayce so much that I cried for the short amount of time he was home on his lunch break. I watched the new episode of Ghost Adventures on Friday night with Cayce.

On Saturday, we went to Blackville to visit my grandpa's grave for his birthday, and introduced Addy. Sammy didn't want to leave and she kept hugging his stone and kissing it. it brought tears to my eyes. That night, Cayce and I went to the drive in and saw Breaking Dawn 2. It was a great date, and I had so much fun. The girls spent some time with my parents while we were watching the movie.

Yesterday, Cayce and I stayed home with the girls and watched the other Twilight movies. We went to Walmart last night and we got some more ink for our printer for Samantha's school. She was happy to do school again today.

This morning, Cayce got up early to head to the food bank to get some formula and diapers, but we didn't get any. We got our 3rd turkey, and it is the biggest. We cooked our 2nd one today and it is so delicious. On Thursday, which will be Thanksgiving, we are taking our 3rd turkey to Cayce's aunt's house so she can fry it for us. We are going to be so sick of turkey, but we will have some food left over to last us.

Happy Holidays?

It doesn't feel like it is the holiday season. I don't want to even think about a new year. I have no idea what we are going to do next Thursday for Thanksgiving. We have our turkey in the fridge. We are supposed to go to Aiken to spend Thanksgiving with Cayce's aunt and her family.

I already have christmas presents coming in for the girls and I got Cayce his present the other day. We are being adopted my a neighbor down the road and we have applied for stuff a bus.

Prep. Curriculum: Week 12

This post is very far behind. Week 12 was about ducks. Samantha played with her rubber duckies, and we made duck sounds. This is the week that I ran out of ink in my printer.

On Monday, she only got to color one picture of a duck, but we reviewed the vocabulary word, which was duckling.

On Tuesday, the color was white. So basically, we went around the house pointing out everything that is white. On Wednesday, she learned the letter L. She wrote the letter and said it pretty much all day long. She about drove me crazy, but I'm glad she knows it.

 

I gave her Thursday off from school to figure out how to teach her the number 12. On Friday, we counted to that number, and thats it. We didn't write.

 

I am ready to get some ink back in my printer so I can properly teach my daughter her letters and numbers.

Prep. Curriculum: Week 11

This weeks them for school was about the moon. She knew exactly what it was, so I helped her with the 4 different phases of the moon. The vocabulary word was Full Moon.

She had a heard time pronouncing the waxing moon and the waning moon.

 

On Tuesday, she learned about the shape of a crescent and what better way to teach her, is to print her a picture of a crescent moon.

Halloween was on Wednesday, so we read Halloween stories and talked about pumpkins. When we went trick or treating, the moon wasn't out, so she didnt get to see it until we were on the road headed home.

 

On Thursday, we resumed with normal school and she learned the letter K.

She is learning how to write by herself. I'm very proud, but every so often, I'll have to stop her because she gets carried away.

 

On Friday, we did the number 11. She liked writing it, but she didn't count that much.

 

Wednesday and Thursday

Sorry for not posting for the last two days. We have been super busy, getting ready for the weekend and for holidays. On Wednesday, we had to get up early to go grocery shopping, so Cayce could get to the fair grounds and sign our family up for Christmas assistance. We automatically got approved because we have food stamps.

Everyone is still talking about the election and how it was all about race and blah blah blah. I'm sick of all of it. So, I'm done talking about that.

Yesterday, Addy had her 9 month checkup. She is 16 pounds and 8 ounces. She is doing so good and she got three shots. After her doctors appointment, we went and got some groceries and we got our turkey. The past two days have been fun.

I will post week 11 od sammy's school later, and then this week's school probably tomorrow. She has next week off from school, and that will give me time to get focused again and ink for my printer.

I Am NOT Voting Today

I will not be going to the polls today. I dont like either candidate, I would chose the third party candidate, but I have no idea who that is. I am just ready for all this stuff to be over. All my african american friends are voting for Obama, and all my white friends are voting for Romney. It is just a big racial election, not for leadership. It's crazy.

Cayce doesn't have the day off from work, and it is cold and fixing to rain outside. I can't wait for the weekend.

Fun Day

Today didn't start off that great, but got better. Cayce went and paid some bills this morning and I didn't go because I had a terrible stomach ache. He brought breakfast home. We had Mcgriddles and McCafe's. I FINALLY started on Adalyn's closet, pulling out small clothes and putting in winter clothes. I'll finish by tomorrow afternoon.

We went shopping after I did dishes and more of Addy's closet. We looked at toys to get the girls for christmas and Cayce got more tools that he needed. We went to my parent's house after. Cayce raked leaves for my dad, and the girls spent some much needed time with my mom. I swear I have never heard my mom laugh so much at the girls. We talked about Swagbucks, and her work week.

When we came back home, we ate subway for dinner and the girls watched TV for the rest of the night till it was time for them to go to bed. Cayce found to 8 ft posts in the woods and plans on using them to expand our building.

Going back to my parents tomorrow to finish raking the leaves, and hoping to finish Addy's closet and start on Sam and Airy's closet.

I Hate My Data Plan

I have Straight Talk for my phone. I get the 30 dollar plan, because I can afford it, but I only get 30MB of data. I have so many Halloween pics on my phone that I cant get off because I have no more data. So, that's why I haven't posted in the last couple of days.

Anyways, today was good, then got stressful when Cayce checked the mail when he got off work this afternoon. Out mortgage payment has went up 70.00 because of our house taxes. It is so stressful that I dont think that we will be able to buy the kids christmas this year or have any money to get basic neccessities until tax time. Hopefully, Cayce will be able to get the county to come down on our taxes, and our mortgage company can put us back at our mortgage payment we have now or drop it a good bit. That would be amazing, but I'm not going to get my hopes up that it will drop.

Well, I'm off to bed. We have a busy day ahead of us tomorrow, and the kids will get to spend some time with their granny and papa (my parents).

Here is a quick exciting fact, yesterday morning, Adalyn started crawling. My baby is growing up before my eyes and it won't stop.

Ghost Hunters VS Ghost Adventures

Happy Halloween everyone. I'm so ready to take Samantha, Ariana, and Adalyn trick or treating tonight, and it's Addy's 1st Halloween.

I was on facebook this morning, and my brother posted on his status that there was a Ghost Hunters marathon on all day. Me personally, I dislike Ghost Hunters. I don't think they are that great at what they do because they don't review their EVP's or have cameras to catch evidence. I, on the other hand, am a HARD CORE Ghost Adventures fan. There are only 3 guys and they have no big camera crew during lockdown, only when interviewing and researching before lockdown. I believe that they are better than Ghost Hunters, because they review and debunk things that they might have caused, like bumping in to something.

I will always be fans of Zak, Nick, and Aaron.

I will post with pictures of the girls in their costumes later.

Good day all

M&M Pumpkin Cake

Bake:

4 cups all-purpose flour

1 Tbs. baking powder

1 ½ tsp. baking soda

1 tsp. cinnamon

½ tsp salt

1 can (15 ozs.) pumpkin puree

½ cup milk

2 tsp. vanilla extract

1 cup unsalted butter, softened

2 cups sugar

5 eggs

1. Heat oven to 350 F. Coat two 1.5-liter Pyrex bowls with non stick cooking spray; set aside.

2. Whisk together the flour, baking powder and soda, cinnamon, and salt. Mix the pumpkin, milk and vanilla in a small bowl to blend.

3. Beat the butter in a large bowl with an electric mixer until smooth. Gradually add the sugar and beat until light and fluffy, about 3 minutes. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add the flour mixture, alternating with the pumpkin mixture, ending with the flour. Beat just until smooth.

4. Divide the batter evenly between the prepared bowls. Bake at 350 in the center of the oven for 55 to 65 minutes, or until golden and a toothpick inserted in center of cakes comes out clean. Transfer bowls to a wire rack and cool 15 minutes. Invert cakes to racks and cool completely.

Decorate:

1 can (16 ozs) vanilla frosting

Orange gel food coloring

2 bags orange M&M’s

34 yellow or brown M&M’s

1 chocolate covered candy bar (snickers)

1. Trim the top of the cakes with a serrated knife to make level. Tint the frosting orange with the food coloring. Place one cake layer, cut side up, on a serving platter. Spread the cut side with ½ cup of frosting. Place the other cake layer on top, cut side down. Trim any excess to make round.

2. Spread a thin layer of frosting on half the cake, from top to bottom. Start with the nose: in the center of the frosted area, place 3 yellow or brown M&M’s- 2 on bottom 1 on top- to make a triangle nose. Place 2 orange candies above the nose and then begin with the eyes: Attach 3 yellow candies along the same line as the orange candies above nose, to the left. Then place two yellow candies above that row, and end with a single yellow candy. Repeat on the other side of the nose. Below the nose, make an upside-down triangle using 2 orange candies. Make a yellow candy mouth, beginning with 7 candies arranged in a “V” around the orange triangle. Then use 12 additional yellow candies to finish the mouth. Fill in with more orange candies close together on the frosted area. When that area is covered, spread another area with the frosting and add more candies. Repeat until the entire cake is covered with orange candies.

3. Cut the candy bar in half crosswise on the diagonal to fashion a stem. Make a small hole in the top of the cake and press the candy bar half, cut side down, into the top of the cake, for the stem. Refrigerate to firm frosting.

 

Prep. Curriculum: Week 10

This week was all about trains. She liked it and we saw a train going down the tracks and we heard them at our house.

We went to the library this week and we read some books about trains and she had a blast.

On Tuesday, we did the color black. She went around the house pointing out the color on everything. It really helped her since we have black appliances in our kitchen.

On Wednesday, we did the letter "J". Right when she saw me printing off her coloring page for the letter, she ran to the refrigerator and grabbed the J magnet.

 

On Thursday we did the number 10. She did beyond excellent. She was counting her fingers, writing without help most of the time.

She messed up a little but I was so proud that she was writing by herself.

On Friday, we recited the poem Little Boy Blue, and we pretended to be a choo-choo train.
