I WON A BOOK!!!! I am excited. I haven't won anything in years, probably since high school. I entered this giveaway on Goodreads and I forgot all about it. I got an email right after the giveaway ended I think and it said I won. There was I think 10 copies available and over 600 people entered for it, so finding out that little bit of information was EXCITING. But here is my picture of the book.
It's a parallel universes and copies of everything. For example, two earths, two you's, two me's and how one earth is dying out and they are trying to take over the second one to keep living.
I am so excited to read it and I will be getting to this after I get my required reviews out of the way.

Halsey - Castle (Audio)
I listened to a fan made video of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay pt. 2 a few weeks ago and this was the song used in the video. I thought it fit so perfectly and the parts of the trailer she used, was spot on. It was amazing and I had to find the song and listen to the whole thing. One of my new favorite songs and I will forever associate it with The Hunger Games!!!!!

Lowe's Workshop: Firetruck
Here is the annual firetruck workshop that Lowe's has every September. This year, the firetrucks came with little safety cards and I don't care if the girls have duplicate firetrucks from every year, they will go because my brother, their uncle is a firefighter.
They also had a little party because one of the kids got their 100th badge, like woah. I have no clue how many the girls have. I do know that Ariana has one more than Sammy, and it was the first firefighter workshop they did. So no pictures of them working on their crafts, just them eating their hotdogs and drinks.
When they got home, they told me all about them eating and having fun. They were excited!!!
I love the firetrucks workshops. It gives recognition to the firefighters.

Library Haul #7
I got all of this week's books on the same day, so no multiple trips to the library this week... yay!!!!!!!
There are a total of 6 books and 3 movies so let's get stared>>>>>
1. How to Train Your Dragon
We love this movie. The first time we seen it, it was on Netflix and that was back in 2011. Cayce just randomly picked it up for the girls.
2. Lady and the Tramp
This was another movie Cayce picked up randomly. I haven't seen this movie since childhood and the girls have only seen previews of it on Dsiney Channel and on other movies.
3. Aladdin
The last time we seen this movie was when we were moving into our house. Sammy was 2 and Airy was a year old and we were running around loading the car with boxes and sitting on the floor watching TV. We didn't have the movie, we were lucky that it was on Disney or ABC Family at the time. Samantha loved the genie when she was little. I wonder if she will remember him.
4. Chicken Little
I absolutely LOVE Chicken Little. The book and the movie are hilarious. I know the girls will laugh and get a kick out of it. We will be having a book- movie day at the end of a school day this week.
5. The Grouchy Ladybug
Who doesn't love Eric Carle? All the books are amazing. This one is my second favorite with the Very Hungry Caterpillar coming in first.
6. Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs
Again, loved this book growing up and I love the movies. The girls will like it because they watch the movies continuously. I will also be doing a book- movie day this week.
7. Mittens at School
This is a book for Samantha to read on her own. She is getting more independent with this types of books and she needs help every now and then. She likes cats so, I know she will enjoy this.
8. Ballet Stars
This is another book for Sammy to read by herself. She might like it, I don't know. Ariana has the fascination with ballet, so Airy might try to take this away from Sammy.
9. Elmer and the Lost Teddy
I have never heard of this book, until I saw a listing last year. I read it right when I got it, and it is such a cute little story. I know the girls will love it and the ventriloquist elephant reminded me of Jeff Dunham.
So there is this week's library haul. If your kids haven't read these books, read them with us this week and lets chat about them!!!

It was a crap week for freebies. But the freebies I did get were amazing.

Wednesday: We only got two freebies today.
Thursday: Yesterday on Cayce's way to work, he stopped by Edible Arrangements and got a 7pc sampler box. He forget them at work in the fridge and brought them to me today. They were so good. I want more!!!

School Week 6 Recap
Six weeks down..... can you believe it???? It is flying by and I want it to slow down a little. We had a good week. Every week has been good so far. We haven't had a total disaster of a week yet and I don't want one for a while.
Monday: We started off the day with a craft. Last Friday, I took down the Valentine's heart chain that we had made and hung up last year. It was starting to fall down and I wanted to do something new. So, in honor of Halloween coming up, we made a black and orange paper chain.
We then ended the day by doing some fall worksheet. We didn't do any computer work today and it was welcome.
Tuesday: We started school 40 minutes later than we usually do because I overslept and didn't want to get up at all. So we spent the majority of the day watching the Your Baby Can Read DVD's. Samantha was recognizing words and pointing them out and Airy was singing along with the songs and doing some of the dances. We then did our morning work, quiet time and puzzle time.
Wednesday: We started the day with morning work and then went straight to computer work. The girls wanted to work on the computer, so that's what they did.
After computer work, the girls did more fall worksheets and quiet time.
Then of course, they had to work on this puzzle. I can not wait for this damn thing to be out of my room.
Thursday: We had a normal school day. Morning work, quiet and puzzle time. Then more fall worksheets and computer work. The girls are loving this Little House curriculum that we are using this year.

I hate that Airy closed her eyes, but OMG, look at that child's lashes.
I didn't intend for it to be this long
It stretches from one side of the room to the other. I thought we were going to run out of room.
Then we read our quiet and puzzle time followed by reading some library books. Just like I thought, the girls favorite book was Chicka Chicka Boom Boom.We then ended the day by doing some fall worksheet. We didn't do any computer work today and it was welcome.

President Snow decided to join the fun.

The only thing different about quiet time this morning is that I decided to read my book with them. I was reading Insurgent.
The puzzle is almost done. Went so much faster with two.
working on finishing her math
Airy learning how to type.
She loved doing this. I will have to find this website again and see what other activities they have.
Friday: The girls started the morning off playing with ABC magnets and clothespin animals. Then we stopped for brunch. Samantha helped me cook while Ariana played with Addy.
After brunch, we did our morning work and then they got to play with dominoes. Ariana loved it, like I knew she would.
After dominoes, they did quiet time, where Samantha read out loud some of the words for the majority of the time. She is doing so great with sounding out words, and recognizing words and rhyming, it is absolutely amazing. The they did puzzle and they are so close to being done.
To end the day and the week, they wanted to work in their workbooks, so that's what they did. They love their colorful school zone workbooks. They are just thick and got the most beautiful colors for the pictures.
