Letter Curriculum: Week 32

This post is way late, but had to get it in before the new year. Happy New Year's Eve everybody. I'm glad that the girls don't have any school this week, and no I didn't plan it like that, it came with the mix up that happened at the beginning of Ariana's school. Last week was a review week for Samantha. She had to 6 letters to review so it spilled over into Saturday. I gave her Wednesday off because of Christmas.

Monday:

Her favorite was the unicorn of course.

Tuesday:

Wednesday: Christmas Day. They wanted to do school at first but ended up being distracted by EVERYTHING!!!!!

Thursday: We had a double lesson. The letters W and X. I started with W first. We did the whole lesson like normal and when we were through, I went onto X like normal.

Friday:
Her favorite was the yard because she loves to go outside

Saturday: This will be the last Saturday of school work. She has 6 more weeks in the school curriculum and I'm going to give her a month or 2 off before we start preparing her for Kindergarten.
The time she has off will be filled with trips and activities.
This was a cute rhyming alphabet book

After she got done with her lesson, she got ready to go spend the weekend with my parent's. She worked on her coloring and painting while their too.

Christmas Eve 2013

The girls had an amazing Christmas Eve night. Cayce had to work Christmas Eve day and he got off work around 1. When he got home, the girls were taking a nap and we watched animal planet. He ended up going to get us some Chinese food for dinner. Samantha and Ariana had salads and Addy had two chicken salad sandwiches.

My mom and dad always bring the girls gifts on Christmas Eve because they go to the beach every year on Christmas. My mom is not a Christmas fan. Samantha was excited to be able to open her gifts, and my dad was anxious to see how Adalyn would like hers.

Adalyn was the first to open her gifts

She got a Winnie the Pooh and a Minnie Mouse. She LOVES her Minnie.

Ariana asked for a Woody doll and a Bullseye from Toy Story. My dad also got her a Crayola art set.

She got a lalaloopsy doll

Samantha got a Jessie doll and a Bullseye from Toy Story and she also got a Crayola art set

She also got a tiny unicorn.

Playing before bath time.

How sweet is this face.

After my parents left to go to my brothers house, we gave the girls their baths and put them in matching pajamas.
Addy wasn't happy and she was ready to go to bed.

Cayce got the girls matching pajamas with monkeys on them. We always call them our little monkeys. I LOVE these pajamas on them. They are adorable. I'm hoping to keep this tradition going every year. The pajamas were one of our presents to them.

I love this picture. It would be even better with Addy Baby in it, but she wanted to act up.

Sammy is just so cute

Pouring Santa a big glass of milk

Snickerdoodles and milk. Santa was spoiled.

The girls wrote letters to Santa when they were spending time with my parents when Cayce and I were grocery shopping one day. Christmas Eve was great and I hope they all turn out like this or WAYY better in the future.

Prep. Curriculum: Week 10

This week, Ariana only did 3 days of school. She was at my parent's house on Monday, and she came home that night, so we had double lesson on Tuesday. We didn't do any school on Wednesday. The theme was trains this week.

Tuesday:
The color this week was black, or how Ariana says it, BWACK!!! lol

Pretending to be a train. We made Samantha the caboose.

Thursday:

she had to draw 10 stripes on the caterpillar

counting book

book of black
Friday: We did our lesson early on Friday morning. She wasn't too happy that school was over for the week, so I found a couple more pages for her to work on in her workbook.

she made a black balloon.

She is not going to be happy next week, because she has the week off. I'm going to do some New Year's activities with them and keep their minds going.
