Planning Kindergarten Year

I swear this year, I have become the biggest procrastinator EVER!!!! Samantha will be starting kindergarten in 11 days, and I don't have a single thing planned. The only things I have done is our membership forms completed and a planner book for the school year bought from Wal-Mart.

I'm going to start planning first thing in the morning, and I have a binder and my labeler ready. I have enough ink and paper and I know that printing things will take up the majority of my morning.

Another thing I have to do tomorrow is plan out her 180 days and plan her holidays/ day offs.

Now it's time for me to go to bed if I want to get up at a decent time in the morning to get all this started and make some progress.

Columbia Blowfish vs. Forest City Owls

Last night, Cayce and I had a date night. The girls got two tickets to a Blowfish game for their summer reading. Cayce and I took advantage of going this year, just him and I so we didn't have to buy 3 more tickets. It also gave my mom more time to spend time with the kids before she has to go back to work next week. She is a school lunch lady, so she starts back to work a week before the kids start going back. It was an amazing time. We had subway before the game and when we got to the stadium, we sat on the third base line this time and close to the visitor's dugout. It was way better this time being off daughter duty, so I got to ogle the players. I instagramed a lot, and now there are a bunch of butts on my account. Cayce was also being photographer/videographer. I will post the videos later. These pictures are a little out of order.

We just dropped the kids off at my parents.

subway before getting to The Cap! (Capital City Stadium)

I watched this player the whole game. He was definitely a cutie and had a nice butt!!

Lowe's Workshop: Turbo Taco Truck

I think this is the cutest workshop they have done so far. They built the taco truck from Turbo. I busted out laughing when I registered them for it. I was definitely ready to see the taco trucks.

Here's the pictures.

New Sandbox

A few weeks ago, Cayce's boss from the store gave us his kid's old play set. It is in a bunch of pieces in my yard and we are patiently waiting for my dad and a few of his buddies to come by and put it together for the girls. Yesterday, he dropped off almost over 3,000 pounds of sand for a sandbox that will be next to the play set.

Early this morning, my dad and Cayce went to the hardware store and got some lumber to construct a big box. It is located in front of my bedroom window and it is the perfect size for the kids.

The funny thing is, is that when they were filling it, my dad was throwing the sand at Cayce and right before he left for work, he was dumping sand out of his pockets and shoes. it was hilarious because Cayce was saying "Do I look like a target?" in the highest squeakiest voice he could ever make. I was laughing so hard my sides hurt.

We got some fire ant poison out and hopefully that will help keep ants out the sand.

2 YEARS OF BLOGGING

Happy 2 year anniversary to ME!!! I can't believe that I have stuck through with this for 2 years. There have been times where I haven't been able to blog, just have enough time to draft a post with a title and the date, so I could come back letter to finish.

I know that it will probably be even more time cut away from this blog when we finally start school. I am going to try to blog before going to bed some nights. I will post about how our school will be going, and all the others excitement that will happen.

The next anniversary coming up is mine and Cayce's 7 year in September. It has been a long time with this fool, and all the hell we go through, but I wouldn't have it any other way honestly. I have stopped Samantha's kindergarten prep work because it was honestly SOOOOOOO boring. I will definitely have to find or come up with something else for Ariana and Adalyn.

Now back to the busy life. Bye Bye blog world.... for now.

Officially Homeschool Members

Yesterday before Cayce left for work, we signed up for membership to the Alliance Homeschool Accountability Association or AHAA. This is the homeschool group we have been looking into for the past year and a half. We got approved late last night and we had to pay 49.95. I am hoping that this year will go smoothly.

Already had a couple freak outs and I am starting to doubt that I can do this. I am printing all the necessary documents and all that crap so the government doesn't come after me. I know there will be a lot of trial and errors coming, but if I plan on sticking through with this, it's going to have to happen.

I also purchased Samantha's class shirt yesterday. It is an adult medium white t-shirt and it has Class of 2027 in black block letters. Cayce and I talked it over and we are going to get our shirts at the end of this school year and see if we want to continue with homeschooling.

Kindergarten Prep Work: Week 7

Not many pictures this week, but it's more important to focus on her words right now instead of worrying about pictures.

Lowe's Workshop: Turbo

We still have not seen this movie. I know the kids have been wanting to see it since it came out, and they have had the turbo cereal. This morning, they got to build a turbo pullback car.
