February 2022 Wrap Up// Sunday Post #27

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimberly from The Caffeinated Book Reviewer

Happy March everyone. Hope that everyone has had a good first week of March. I know I have. I got a new routine going, and work and home life and reading are all going well. February flew by but it was an overall good month. The month did start off bad when I router decided to just quit on a Saturday. We had to wait until Monday afternoon for a technician to come out and fix it. So the whole weekend we pulled off my hubby's phone data and our car's wifi. Gotta love onstar!!!! Last weekend my two older girl finally did some cookie booths for the year and we have officially decided to pull them out of Girl Scout after May. All of the crap that we went through in December is nothing compared to what all we had to deal with this month. From shitty troop leaders to being accused of taking $14.00 from the cash box when it wasn't in our possession to just bad communication and wrong cookie orders and being told to just suck it up and give the wrong cookies out anyways. Other than girl scout drama, everything was peachy.

BOOKS READ IN FEBRUARY:

I read a total of 8 books in February. Not a lot and some were just not great. Had my first DNF of the year simply because the format of the ebook was horrendous and unreadable. It took me three weeks to read Anna Karenina and I was listening to it on audiobook and it was a snoozefest.

I have two books from NetGalley and my NetGalley shelf is beyond ridiculous. I don't even want to talk about my ratio. I just need to stay away from the read now section because I AIN'T READING NOW...LOL.

January 2022 Monthly Wrap Up //Sunday Post #23

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimberly from The Caffeinated Book ReviewerThanks to Nicole from Feed Your Fiction Addiction and Shannon from It Starts At Midnight for hosting the Monthly Wrap Up Round Up.

This past week was a good one, but I am beyond excited for February. Next Sunday is my youngest daughter's birthday. She will be 10. Then my mom's birthday on Super Bowl Sunday!!! Overall, January was a good one but it just dragged. I read some good books. I finished a couple series. I am not sure on two because the sequels just came out this year and there is no news on if there will be more books. I watched some great TV shows this month. Homeschooling this month was good. We are a little behind in some subjects, but my girls are not having any meltdowns, so it's a win in my book.

BOOKS READ IN JANUARY:

I am currently in the middle of reading Anna Karenina which will not be finished this month and To Trust in What We Cannot See which is an alternate history time travel where two guys go back and kill Hitler and then go back to the present and realize that it didn't change anything, and they have to go back and kill other leaders and people involved with Hitler. Really weird. I also have reviews for the other books on my blog and I talk about them on my YouTube channel.

Received two arcs for upcoming blog tours and a edition of a classic that I have been wanting to read for a while.

I watched the same shows as last week and started a new show on Friday night. I always laughed at the trailers for this show whenever it came on and I just decided to start it and I am going to be starting the third episode later today.

My hubby and I finished season 1 and it was so damn good. This show is WAY better than the graphic novels. Just need to start season 2 now.

I had no idea that the second season of Superman and Lois started earlier this month, so we binged the first three episodes this week and I have to say that this season is so much cringe and tropey. I can't handle it. Just hoping that the show lays off a little bit on the family and teen drama and give more action.

This week's episode of Boba Fett had to be the best so far. The Mandalorian is back and honestly, I didn't miss Boba Fett in this episode. I am just beyond ready for the third season of the Mandalorian. I NEED MORE GROGU!!

This is the show that I started on Friday Night and I am so glad I did because it gave me the laughs I needed. There are some raunchy sex scenes that I was not expecting but I should have. I am holding myself back on watching more episodes because I need to get things done, but Hulu is calling.

Hope everyone has a good week.

October 2021 Monthly Wrap Up// Sunday Post #16

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimberly from The Caffeinated Book ReviewerThanks to Nicole from Feed Your Fiction Addiction for hosting the Monthly Wrap Up Round Up.

Who else is not happy that Daylight Savings Time ended today. Growing up, I used to love it getting dark early because I was and still am a night owl. But now being an adult with responsibilities and a light bill, I want the sun to stay as much as possible. I had a good first week of November and it was very productive.

The month of October was good. It flew by and there was some things that didn't happen like watching a Halloween movie every night with my kids, or visiting all 4 Disney World park during the Magical Hopathon that I participated in. I did get a good amount of books read.

BOOKS READ IN OCTOBER

I have reviews for all of these up on the blog and I gush about them in my booktube videos for The Magical Hopathon.

I have been staring at my physical bookshelves and ebook bookshelves and feeling overwhelmed. I am going to be doing a big un-haul soon to prep for any that I get for my birthday and Christmas next month.

I decided to split my blogpost for volume 1 into 2 because it would be hella long and I wasn't about that. Plus having the first part ...
