I am thinking about just gathering all my freebies into one bag for the week and then do one post after the mail runs on Saturdays. So I have one more freebie post scheduled after this one and then I will be doing them weekly.
1. Astroglide
All I am going to say is this is for bedroom activities... :D
2. Zarbees
I got this when I was so sick and it was a godsend. I don't know if it helped or a little but I will be getting more of these.
3. Garnier Fructis Shampoo & Conditioner
I love getting hair care samples in the mail. They are my second favorite thing to get because they give my head a break from my regular shampoo and conditioner, and this smelled SOOO GOOOD!!!

School Week 2 Recap.
Week 2 is done and gone. We did school every day this week and we were slowly getting of our illnesses. I was happy that we got the week done. It was still exhausting but we are getting into a routine. I definitely need to relax this weekend and still recover from being sick. I also need to rework some subjects and the days we will be doing stuff.
Monday: I was still battling a head cold and was still feeling like crap, so we started the day off with watching Where the Wild Things Are. They loved the movie. My opinion on the book and movie is in my library haul. After the movie, I had them draw pictures from the movie and this little guy showed up on the kitchen window outside.
Tuesday: We were feeling a little bit better today and I decided to get some workbook pages done right at the beginning in case our energy drained again at the end of the day.
We ended the day with doing computer work. They did quiet time and skipped the puzzle. They were getting drained and they were exhausted after working on the computer.
Wednesday: Ariana wanted to work on puzzle, so that is how they started the day, They worked on it for an hour. We also did chores today. We had clothes to put up and dishes to do, so we did that as well. After chores, they started slagging a little, so they did quiet time before doing our computer work for the day.
Thursday: It seemed like all of us went back down hill again, and we watched movies. We watched Where the Wild Things Are and Busytown Mysteries, and then we read our books again. Not a productive day but we worked on summary skills from the movies and our reading skills. And we also stayed in our pajamas all day because what the hell..
Friday: We started the day by finishing Busytown mysteries and drawing on those. It took two hours and we were finally feeling good, but the girls were doing so good at describing what happened in every episode of Busytown Mysteries, I wished I would have recorded it on my phone. I didn't take much pictures today, but I did take one of them reading during quiet time.
They are loving this school year, but I am not going to be doing so many movies next week, because they are feeling better this weekend.

while Samantha was doing spelling words, Ariana was doing her computer craft.
she read this all by herself and she id so well. I was a proud mommy and then she read it for Cayce and I haven't seen him smile so wide since our daughters birthdays.

Library Haul #3
Here we go with haul 3. I hope you guys are enjoying these posts, if not... oh well. There are other posts to go enjoy. So you know, I read these books in advance before I read them to the girls because some kids books these days are just to informational. Now, let's go>>>>>
1. Bark, George
This was such a cute book. I laughed and it was very enjoyable. The mama dog was teaching her puppy how to bark and he kept doing other sounds and he ended up having to go to the vet to get the other animals out of his belly and at the very end he ate a human.
2. The Princess and the Pea
This is another version of this fairy tale. It was a good one, but very long. I also loved how the queen had a superstition against opals and the princesses name was Opal. It was very funny.
3. Skippyjon Jones
This was about the cutest little Siamese kitten who plays pretend and in this one, he pretended he was a chihuahua warrior. Yea, I got a Beverly Hills Chihuahua vibe and it was super fun to read the Spanish sentences and sound funny while reading them to make the kids laugh. They enjoyed this book. I will be getting more of these books about this cute little cat.
4. Parts
This book was the funniest children's book I have read in a long time. This little boy kept finding different things going on with his body, like ear wax and baby teeth falling out and he thought he was falling apart. It was so funny.
5. Puppy Mudge Finds a Friend
I got this one for Samantha to read. It is very repetitive and will be easy for her to read.

Freebie Haul #1
I am starting to sign up for freebies again, and I want to start showing what I get so I can see what I get and what I don't. So here is the first haul.
1. Free medium 2 topping pizza from Dominos.
1. Free medium 2 topping pizza from Dominos.
I got this through the MLB promotion for a no hitter. I had to sign into my MLB account right at 3:00pm and the first 20,000 people would get a code for a free pizza. So this lovely yummy pizza kicked off our freebies. I got a pineapple and pepperoni pizza. I don't like Dominos but it's free, so I ain't complaining.
2. Little Dudes Bandages
I got these from a facebook sampler event. I had to choose a friend to send them too, so I sent them to Cayce. The kids loved the stickers that came with them.
3. BzzAgent Intro Mission Magnet
I signed up for BzzAgent. BzzAgent is a website where you can sign up to receive products for honest reviews. The first mission is a magnet. Once you get your product, you get activities or challenges to complete. You get rated on reviews or pictures, and the more reviews you give, the better your chances are is to receive more products.
4. Kansas Travel Guide
I get these travel guides because I eventually want to travel to all 50 states and I want them on hand when its time for the kids to do geography. I wished I got to use these in school.
5. Cottonelle Wipes
These were another freebie that I had to send to a friend. I sent these to Cayce because he uses these more than I do. Nasty!!!

Brooke Hogan - You'll Never Be Like Him
Back in my high school days, I remember every Sunday, my mom and I would watch VH1 and watch shows like Scott Baio......, Rock of Love, and Hogan Knows Best. This is one show we talked about constantly. I grew up spending almost every weekend with my grandma and uncle, and my uncle would watch the good ole day wrestling religiously. I remember Hulk Hogan the most and his show really interested me because it brought back memories of chillin on the couch in my grandma's living room watchin wrestling with my uncle.
Brooke Hogan is a good singer. I wish that people would not think of her as Hulk Hogan's kid but as her own person and maybe she would be noticed better as a singer. I like many of her songs but some are just really crappy. I didn't listen to this album for years because the cover art is terrible and I judge albums and books by cover art. I listened to it the other day after a song off the album popped up on my discover weekly playlist on Spotify and the song was Hey Yo!. ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT. Then I got the courage to listen to the rest of the album and fell in love with a couple more songs. I won't listen to the ones that made me skip like 3 seconds in because the beats was just THAT BAD!!
But here is one of the songs that hooked me. Enjoy!!

Lowe's Workshop: Thor
The last Avenger workshop was yesterday. It was Thor's chariot. Chris Hemsworth has a chariot???? :D...lol. Samantha also had her first injury yesterday, but she was tough and didn't cry. They were doing this workshop and just getting over their headcolds. My kids are some fighters. They don't let anything stop them, unless it's really REALLY bad!!!
I am so ready to iron on the patches and see what it looks like and how much space it's going to take up on the apron. I don't have any pictures of the finished product or the patches, but I will post pictures of their aprons once I get the patches ironed on.
I am so proud of this kid right here. She looks so focused!
my baby hurt herself, but she was a tough cookie and didn't cry. She got that from me definitely!!!
Kept on going, look at her.

School Week 1 Recap.
The first week of the new school year is done and gone. It has been a great and exhausting week. I have been loving my relax time so far this weekend, even though I just woke up like an hour ago....lol.
So on Monday, we took out first day of school pictures. Ariana does not have her class shirt yet, because I don't have the money to get hers right now, but I will be getting it probably around her birthday or Christmas. It might be Christmas, because of how our funds are now, we might have to wait a couple weeks to get her ears pierced. But anyways, they were excited to take pictures.
They were excited to do their work.
We did some easy things and had some quiet time. The first day I try to get them doing different things separately and it was exhausting.
Tuesday: Well, we got sick. The 2nd day of school and we got sick. It was the crappiest day EVER. So we started the day watching a movie. Not the way I wanted to start the school year, but you gotta do what you gotta do.
After the movie we did morning work and workbooks. The girls still weren't feeling well, and my throat started getting scratchy.
Samantha also started her copy work packet this year.
Wednesday: Cayce was home for most of school and he helped Ariana build her Hulk tank as part of her school.
Sammy started spelling words this week.
They also had quiet time to end the day, and they are working on that damn puzzle that samantha didn't finish this summer, and has been taking up space in my room.
Thursday: We had a another movie day this week because I was feeling horrible. My throat was beyond hurting and head was pounding. So we watched Night at the Museum 2, Nim's Island, and Hairspray. After each movie, I had them draw pictures from the movie that they liked the most and they loved doing this.
Friday: We had our first day off because I could not physically handle being alive that day. I was so sick, that I just stayed in bed most of the day. Thank god for wireless keyboards and mouses so I could try to get my stuff done.
Saturday: Today, the girls made up yesterday and I was feeling a little bit better. They had a workshop and I let them do that for school and they had a library trip too. When they got home, they did their daily notebook and they did quiet time and puzzle time. During quiet time, Sammy read some to me while I was relaxing and it made me happy that she is learning to read.
The first week could have gone better, but we got work done and the girls started learning new things.
