Happy Halloween!

Today was a good day. It wasn't that great, but I made it fun for the girls. This morning, Cayce went into Accurate for 2 hours and came back home to go pay a bill and spend some time with the girls. I dressed the girls in some Halloween clothing and they all wore some purple.

 

During the day, We made ghost sounds and watched Halloween shows. When it was time for naps, I put Adalyn and Ariana down. I had a color by numbers Halloween packet for Samantha to do. She did so good and she stayed in the lines.

 

After she got done with her packet, she sat with me and watched Ghost Adventures.

I gave Ariana the day off from her school work. When Cayce got home, We dressed Samantha and Ariana up in their costumes and I stayed home with Adalyn because there was a huge rain cloud over our house.

Cayce's Wreck 10-21-13

After a week, I can finally talk about Cayce's wreck without getting upset and angry. It happened around noon last Monday when he was on the way home from work at the grocery store. He was coming home for lunch and to get ready to go back to work at Accurate. Needless to say, he didn't eat lunch that day.

The road my parents live on has a bridge at the end of it where it forms into Savannah HWY. Right after you go under the bridge, there is a plant entrance to a chemical plant. When Cayce was on the way home, there was a pickup truck in front of him and in front of the pick up, there was a chemical tanker pulling into the entrance, and the pickup slammed on brakes to keep from hitting the tanker, and Cayce slammed on his brakes, and they didn't work, and slammed into the pickup.

It has been the most miserable 8 days of our lives and it has been stressful. I'm just glad that it wasn't worse than it turned out to be, the pickup truck could have rear ended the tanker and Cayce could have rear ended both of them and possibly a big BOOM! and possibly life threatening.

We have a new car now, and I'm scared every time Cayce drives it. It's going to be a while for me to not be worried every time he drives.

Prep. Curriculum: Week 2 (Ariana)

This week was WAYYYY better than the first. We had a routine almost down pat, and when she was done with school, she wanted to do more. The theme this week was jungle.

Thursday: I gave Ariana the day off because the week was getting the best of me and I was having a bad day all around. Ariana wasn't feeling that well that day either.

Letter Curriculum: Week 24

This week was her last week before her 1 week break. I need it, and I know she definitely needs it. We did the letter T. It was a lot easier this week along with Ariana's school. I ran out of data on my phone again this week and I had to use my busted camera to take pictures and they are all out of order.

Overall, this has been a good week. No whining, or frustration. I wish every week was like this.
