Amazon Packages

I am finally getting stuff in next school year and also some little goodies for me. Thank you Swagbucks. I swear that website is a freaking godsend. It is helping me get the things I need for my children's school and the things I want.

So let my bragging commence... not really bragging but I can't think of another word for it right now.

I could not find this anywhere. It seemed like Walmart, Target, Kmart, Hobby Lobby and JoAnn's were all out of stock, so I amazon'd it.

Sammy's workbook for next year

I needed a new tanner. I had been using Jergen's natural glow since high school but was tired of looking like an oompa loompa if I used it a little too long. So I will be giving this one a shot.

I FINALLY got my copy. Last year I bought this book and it took two months for Amazon to send me my money back because they didn't have it in stock, but after I get my ship confirmation and the actual book in my hands two days ago, I was a really happy girl.

So this on a commercial 2 weeks ago and sent Cayce to wal-mart to see if they had it and they didn't. I looked on amazon, and they had a coupon to go with it, so ya'll know what I did... clicked add to cart and went on my merry way.

Now today, before this blog post idea came to me, I took my little bottle of fabric glue and went to town on the Lowe's build and Grow workshop aprons. I know the patches are iron on, but I wanted to try it this way first. To put it out there, I DO NOT KNOW HOW TO IRON!!!!! I will eventually youtube it, but not in the near future. Don't judge.. some people don't know how to cook, or wash clothes. I can't iron and I have a pretty green one sitting in a box collecting dust.

The thing is, is that I had to put some weight down on the patches until the glue dried, so I stared using some heavy ass candles and I can only do three at a time. It is freaking aggrevating and I will be learning how to iron soon because my fabric glue is almost gone.

Go ahead and judge..... don't care!!!!  LOL

Ariana Letter Curriculum: Week 20

I am going to be starting this post off with what Ariana finished on Sunday of week 19.
we must have read this book the most during the week.

Since she finished week 19 on Sunday, I gave her Monday off, but she did get in on the board game action and she won a round of Sorry, and we started week 20 off on Tuesday. We started the letter Q and she was excited to start. She is starting to write more on her own and do it all before I even read the instructions to her. We are definitely working on that.

On Wednesday, she had a movie day. We put in Willy Wonka and the Chocolate factory. Samantha and Ariana watched it for their school and Ariana had another game day with Cayce with checkers.

On Thursday, we had a shopping trip and she helped daddy with his shopping. She also helped Samantha at the grocery store, so that was mainly her school day.

Yesterday, she played games with Samantha and Cayce. Then she did her work.
my girl is just too cute

writing independently. I am so happy that she finally feels comfortable and confident to do it by herself.

That's the end of week 20. She didn't do any other workbook pages, but she will get to them. She now knows what letter we will be working on right after a week finished. Like we finished Q, she said next week will be the letter R. So I am no longer worried about her missing days because she is paying attention to what is going on around her and also to what Samantha is doing in her school work.

Kindergarten: Week 33

We started this week off going to the library for an hour. It was a very slow start to the week and Monday was more of a lazy- chill school day. We played board games most of time after we got back from the library, and also puzzle. Even Missy got in on the game.
happy to be playing Sorry with her daddy

yep she wanted to play checkers right after her puzzle.

Tuesday: Today was what I call a normal day somewhat. We did computer work and workbook.

she got a little carried away with the color blue

On Wednesday, she started the day off with watching Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. We watched the remake the day before and I wanted to watch the old one.

yep, early morning ice cream.

one of my favorite scenes.... "she was a bad egg!"

she loves her lego magazines

ending the day with her dominoes. today also ended up being lazy in pajama day.

On Thursday, we FINALLY went shopping for clothes. All her clothes that she had was getting smaller and now they have been either put away for winter for Airy or Addy or passed down or just trashed because this is a wild child. We shopped most of the day. She picked out clothes and then she color coded them and then she put them in high or low price piles. After we got about $200 dollars worth of clothes and a couple pairs of shoes for her, we went grocery shopping.

Her stack of new clothes. Her shoes were already put away.

being silly during her puzzle.

Today, we started the day off again with games. Sorry and checkers are her favorite right now and I know that when we get to play monopoly and if she likes it, I know Cayce will have a field day and they will probably play it from sun up to sun down. He is addicted to that game. We ended the week doing spelling words and a test which she did good on.

these are some of her new clothes. she put together this outfit.

working on her words before her test

she made a 95. proud of my baby.
