WWW Wednesday #12

The three W's:
1. What are you currently reading?
2. What did you recently finish reading?
3. What do you think you'll read next?

The past week I have been chilling and enjoying the beginning of our summer break. I am still reading We Are The Song out loud to my kids and I have to say that I am creeping through it. It is not a fun read aloud. Maybe it is because I am still recovering from the flu and have a persistent cough and really want to hack up a lung and my vocal cords. But my kids are enjoying it and right now I will do whatever their little hearts desire.

I finished two books today. One that I was reading last week and a graphic novel that I read through today. I also got through another volume of Heartstopper.

I still have a stack of library books due back soon, but I really want to read one of my owned books and i am going to be picking up an e-book. A book that is actually on my May TBR!

The library books I am hoping to also read this week are...
My 13 year old is rushing me to read this because she has been watching the show and is almost done with the second season.

I am currently reading two books. One book I started today and it is a nonfiction and due back to the library next week. I am hoping that it will be a quick read and not so complex but easy enough to understand. The other is my read aloud to my kids, but our last day of school was on Monday, so I figure that they won't want to sit still and listen to me read when they rather do something else.

I have finished four books since my last WWW Wednesday and I am thrilled about it. It is the motivation I need to continue reading.
I am in the middle of watching the first season and I am LOVING it! I am enjoying it more than the book, which is a trend with me this year that I am enjoying the adaptations more than the book and I am not mad about it.

I am in a crisis at this moment because I have my May TBR but since finishing Outlander, I just want to read the second book ASAP so I can immediately go to the second season of the show when I finish the first. But I have a stack of library books that are due back soon and like I have said in previous posts is that I hate sending books back unread to the library. It feels like such a waste.

My reading so far this month has taken a beating. My entire family and I caught the flu last week and it has been jumping from one to the next. It is the worst and I have been listening to my audiobook here and there when I don't have a pounding headache or when my ears aren't throbbing. I haven't been able to read out loud to my kids since last Monday and I am sad to say I have forgotten most of what I have read of the book.

The only thing that got read last week was a chapter of SAGA. I am reading the issues or chapters as they come out because I can't wait for the bind up volumes and I enjoy the single issues way more.

I have some library books that are due back next week and I have used all of my renewals on them. I hate taking library books back that I haven't read. It feels like such a waste of time for the librarians who had to send it to my library and my hubby who picks up my holds for me on his way home from work.

Long time no see. I have taken an unexpected and much needed break from everything except work for the month of April. I have still been reading, but not as much. I am currently in the middle of two right now. I started listening to an audiobook today and I am halfway done as I am listening at 2x speed. The second is a book that I am reading out loud to my kids and it is the second book in a series that I have started this year. Who am I reading sequels back to back??

I finished four books last week and two were graphic novels. I finally FINALLY finished a series that I have been reading for years and I also read another book for the Agatha Christie reading challenge that is being hosted by the 52 book club. The graphic novel Poiko was for a blog tour and SAGA chapter 55 which is the newest installment after a 2-3 year hiatus. I absolutely LOVED this chapter and if I ever re-read SAGA, I will be reading the individual issues.

Since it is the end of the month, whatever I do decide to pick up will definitely go into my May TBR. I still need to pick up Outlander for one of my Magical Readathon calling prompts. I will be listening to it on audio as I tend to do with big books or mass market paperbacks with tiny words. I also may read chapter 56 of SAGA since that one was recently released.

Currently reading three books. A classic on audio, an e-book and a read aloud to my kids.

Still have two library books to get to before they are due back along with more that were on hold.

Finished the two books that I was in the middle of last week. I am keeping up with series. I don't know if these two are conclusions or just sequels.

Review: Alice in Borderland volume 1 by Haro Aso *spoilers* PART 2

I decided to split my blogpost for volume 1 into 2 because it would be hella long and I wasn't about that. Plus having the first part ...
