HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!! I hope that these six days so far have been good for you. May 2022 be the year the pandemic finally comes to an end and that we can begin to find a new and better normal. I have so many reading plans for this year and there are a lot of challenges that I want to participate in. But now onto the questions.
1. HOW MANY BOOKS ARE YOU PLANNING TO READ IN 2022?
I always set my Goodreads reading goal at 100. In 2021, I read 136 books. This year I want to focus on finishing series and reading bigger books, so I think that I won't read as much but 100 is still my goal.
2. NAME 5 BOOKS THAT YOU DIDN'T GET TO IN 2021 BUT WILL MAKE A PRIORITY IN 2022.
1. Crying in H Mart by Michelle Zauner
2. WinterGarden by Kristin Hannah
3. The Purple Shroud by Stella Duffy
4. All the Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr
5. Ruin and Rising by Leigh Bardugo
3. WHAT GENRE DO YOU WANT TO READ MORE OF?
I want to read more horror. I usually only read horror during the month of October, but I feel I am missing out on the hype of the new released horror.
4. NAME 3 NOT BOOK RELATED GOALS FOR 2022
1. Interact more with blogging community on a daily basis, not just on meme days.
2. Get back into my daily planning. It took a hit during the first year of the pandemic and last year, I just could not focus enough to make it a priority.
3. Get my kids into another activity. They are currently in girl scouts and we are just getting into cookie season so this goal is completely insane to me at this point because cookie season is like a full time job almost. But they want to get into out school district sports program and play soccer, basketball and learn self defense at out local gym.
5. WHAT'S A BOOK YOU HAVE HAD FOREVER AND ARE DETERMINED TO READ
6. ONE WORD THAT YOU HOPE 2022 WILL BE
The word that comes to mind is HEALTHY. I want the pandemic to be over just as much as everyone else. The health of my daughters, husband, family and friends will continue to be at the forefront of my mind.
