Pool Weekend!!!

The past weekend, Cayce had Saturday and Sunday off from work. The weather was in the upper 90's and on Sunday it hit 100. We decided that we were going to be in the pool both days. On Saturday, we spent a good two hours in the pool, teaching the girls to swim and enjoying the light breeze.

On Sunday, it was scorching in the house and we spent even longer in the pool. I wanted pictures, and Cayce took some great ones.

They have turned into fish!

she has learned to kick with her ring and she loves going around the pool, or just lounging

she would live in this pool if I let her. She has learned so much and gained so much confidence. Cayce and I are so proud.

Ariana is catching up with Sammy in skills.

Then Cayce wanted to try to take some pictures underwater with his phone. He has a waterproof case and he got some good pics.

Then we took some family pictures to wrap up our little photo session and get back to the fun.

When we got out of the pool, we had a supper of sandwiches because the house was starting to cool down and I was NOT going to turn on the oven or stove to cook anything. After our sandwiches, we went back outside and had s'mores. #DELICIOUS!

Cayce built our little fire pit in like 20 minutes and it was awesome. The girls had a fantastic weekend and hopefully we will be having another fun weekend, if the weather cooperates!

Samantha's Summer Reading

At our public library, they are doing a summer reading program. Samantha is the only one participating this summer because she is old enough too. Ariana will be able to participate next year. The program runs from May 28- August 10. We started this week, but I have the book's that she has read since May 28 until now.

After the reading program ends, I will post the rest of her reading list. Tomorrow, I'm going to take Samantha to the library, and show the librarian her first 2 hours that we have recorded so she can get her incentive. She has to read 2 hours a week, and the end of the program, she will get a reading medal.
