It is our spring break week and I am so excited about it. We have had some changes to our plans, but it was to be expected somewhat. We had planned on taking a trip out of town and go to Charleston today, but it's not going to happen and I know that it wasn't going to happen when I first mentioned it. You can't change a lazy person's attitude or mindset.
So instead, we will be doing some much needed clothes shopping and organizing the house and also wait for something that could be life changing to happen or not. I will not go into much detail now, but maybe one day, I will talk about it or not.
I am also going to be doing a lot of much needed school planning for the rest of the year and some summer work lessons and also get a head start on next year.
I am going to try to make it the best spring break possible, but the weather needs to cooperate and someone needs to give his PlayStation and break.

Hello December!!
It is officially the end of 2015. 30 more days. I can't believe this year has flew by so fast. So much has happened. Cayce got a new job, Samantha graduated Kindergarten and moved up to first grade. Ariana started Kindergarten. Addy is improving in her speech. Along with those positive things, we have had ALOT of downfalls this year. I just hope that things will be better next month.
It is the beginning of a new month and I am already for it to be over. The holidays this year and last have not been to great for my family, but the only thing we can do is move on. I have some new type of posts I will be introducing on the 16th of this month. One of them is my Polyvore sets. I want to share my outfit ideas on here. I know that a lot of people do it, and I don't want to seem like a copy cat. I just enjoy looking at other people's outfit sets and getting inspiration for my books, and I hope I can do the same for someone else.
Also, to make this month more bearable for Cayce and I, I am planning some little local outings for just us or with the kids. We haven't been doing that lately because of school and work and just general stress of everyday life. Samantha asked me the other day why we didn't go on trips anymore. Even to the grocery store. We don't have time. I always ask Cayce to go by on his way home from work and to get groceries from his job just to save time and gas.
Some will be date nights, where Cayce and I will probably play a board game or watch movies or do like we used to do, just sit in bed and he can draw and I read and we can just talk. The simple things I miss with him, and I think that will be a great stress reliever for the both of us. We had a great date night when we went to the drive in. We put all our worries and responsibilities to the side. We didn't talk about bills, or work, or school or the kids. We just enjoyed each others company. The other thing is that when we were working on getting the fan belt cleaned up before the movie, we didn't argue once. We didn't get pissy with each other and we didn't look at each other with hatred and blame.
I want this month to be a great one for all of us and I will be announcing more plans for this blog for 2016 at the end of this month. Thank you to my followers. If you read my posts and have stuck around, thank you so much. Just seeing your name on my followers list is motivation to keep this blog going. I love you all!!

Hunger Games OVER! #sadface
Last night Cayce and I went to the drive in to see The Hunger Games: Mockingjay pt. 2. I was excited to see everything, but I was upset to know that it was all over at the credits. I started my #thehungergames watch party last Thursday with the first movie.
Cayce and I had an at home date night. Supper was good. Tyson honey BBQ chicken bites, four cheese mashed potatoes, cream style corn and of course mac and cheese. Look at my Catching Fire peeta cup in the background.
Friday night we watched Catching Fire. The sequel is my favorite. We had turkey burgers for supper, but I didn't eat with Cayce. I had to have a Starbucks doubleshot to help me stay awake because it was a long day, but I enjoyed my favorite.
On Saturday, Cayce would be coming home late from work, so we started and watched a good hour an a half of Mockingjay pt. 1 before he left. We ate while we were watching. We had a late breakfast of turkey bacon and scrambled eggs with cheese, green onions and mushrooms.
Yesterday, I was excited and anxious. I had to stay off of tumblr because people were posting spoilers and pictures of the epilogue and I was not having it, but I also felt lost that I couldn't go on my favorite social media platform. To my followers who are reading this and have a tumblr page, please tag your spoilers for people. Cayce and I were second in line this year, but the first car on the main field.
The gates opened at 6:30 and the movie didn't start until 8:00, so Cayce and I had plenty of time to relax, but Cayce decided to take us mudding in our car and got a crap ton of mud all over the fan belts and had to get so much water to clean off the belts so the car wouldn't shake when we turned the defroster on. But, we got it cleaned and the night went on with me crying over Finnick dying, Peeta screaming, and Prim and Buttercup and toastbabies.... ugh. I was riding home and I felt empty. I kept thinking about what I was going to fan girl about now and I felt numb. I wasn't chatty on the way home and Cayce kept asking me if I was alright.
I wasn't alright, the movie killed me. LOL. It was an amazing movie and the books are still my number one favorite series. Thanks so much to Suzanne Collins for coming up with those genius ideas.

October 4th- 7th Flooding
Before I start in on the heavy details, I just want to share this image that was going around Facebook and that almost every one of my friends was sharing.
The start of the month for us started off rainy. It rained and it was so depressing. The storm started to get worse and the warnings started coming in on Saturday afternoon. Cayce was at work and was planning on staying overnight near work because he had to go back in at 5am. He said that the weather was so bad that the wind was shaking the car and he decided to risk it and come home. He called me and stayed on the phone with me the entire time and closer to home, the roads were just so awful. He had to detour several times. My brothers road was completely washed out. He got into the yard and went to back up and started spinning out.
Sunday morning when we woke up, which was a couple hours after he got home, we became glued to our Facebook feed. There was so much devastation coming in. My brother warning us that one of the roads leading to our house was shut down. My mom texting me telling me the same thing. We spent the whole day just relaxing and watching our Facebook feed. Cayce went out to take pictures. I am not going to be posting all of them, but the ones where I can tell where or what it is.
On Monday, while I was doing school with the girls, trying to keep some normalcy for them, Cayce went into our yard and took some videos of our property line and it was flooding and going towards the road that was closed. On Tuesday, The sun was coming out every now and then and it was so refreshing. Cayce was out of work for 2 days and went back on Wednesday. Our road was still closed off and there were many back roads just washed away and gone. Before he left for work, he went down to what caused our road shut down. It's scary, but the sun shining that day was so welcome.
This road just got fixed last week by the National Guard and other roads around us are just now being repaired.
The state of South Carolina has never had something this catastrophic on record since records started being kept in the 1920's. Our governor called it the thousand year storm.
I hope nothing like this ever happens again. Now we are seeing the same thing happen again in Mexico! Please pray for those people and keep them in your thoughts.

1 Year Since Cayce's Accident
It has been exactly one year today since Cayce got hurt at work. It has been a long, stressful, worrisome, trying year. There were times when I thought we would lose everything, but we got through it. We are still having to deal with lawyers and Cayce has one more eye appointment in October. That appointment will put things in motion and what needs to be done.
We are back to living paycheck to paycheck and wondering how we are going to make it two weeks. When we get back on our feet, we will be paying off these debts and start building our emergency fund back up. It sucks that both jobs Cayce had when he got work, just abandoned him and didn't care what so ever, and said see you later... Goodbye!
There have been times during the past year when there have been people from those jobs that said he was faking the whole thing, just to get out of working. That is a bunch of bull. We no longer have any contact with those people, and we only go to the store in town is if we really need something.
There have been times when this whole thing was too much and I wanted to give up and quit and not deal with it anymore. But I have stuck by Cayce's side and we will get through this. It was especially hard that it had to happen during our first year of homeschooling, but it was a great year and everything is going to be OK.
Now, going into the second year, we are just taking things one day at a time. Enjoying our time with each other and enjoying this new school year with the kids and watch them learn and grow.

1 Week Til The New School Year
It is less than a week till the new school year and to be honest, I am freaking TERRIFIED! I have been excited all summer, but now that it's getting close, I am getting scared. I still have to figure out how I am going to deal with Samantha and Ariana at the same time and still have time for Adalyn.
The way Cayce's schedule is at work right now, I have no idea how he is going to be able to help out. I have already figured the book hauls and library trips out. I admit that losing our DirecTV service is a blow that I was not expecting, but we will have to work around that.
The website I want to use this year, has been acting up and I haven't been able to get on it to schedule and plan and print like I need to, so I am having to find something else last minute along with the curriculum I used last year, which was Easy Peasy Homeschool. I loved it, and I can't wait to see how Sammy likes the First Grade portion.
I am going to be using the Little House Kindergarten Curriculum with Ariana and then the grades portion with Samantha. The only thing iffy with that is that the units for the grades aren't completed and I don't trust easily when people say they have things set to a schedule but are still working on them, because things can and will happen.
But here is my little rant. The girls are doing a countdown. I am getting extra time in with Adalyn because I know my time with her during the day will be drastically cut short. The next thing I will be working on is a schedule for us to try to go by the first week. I already have our start and end time figured, I know I will be starting by this time every morning. That is my goal.

The Babies Split
Samantha and Ariana spent the weekend with my parents. They wanted another pool day before they start school on the 17th. They had the Hawkeye workshop on Saturday and when they got done with that, they came straight home and grabbed their bags and Cayce dropped them off on his way to work.
I only got one picture of them. #sadface!
But Addy and I took a bunch of pictures together when we weren't watching TV or she wasn't stealing my computer chair.
Overall, it was a good weekend. I worked with Addy with her speech some more and Sammy and Airy had a relaxing time in the sun and water before we start school in a couple weeks.

This was right after I woke her up and got her dressed for the day. She was still a sleepy baby.
Then she was excited after sissies came back home and then left again.

For my followers who live in other countries and have not heard about it, can basically find articles everywhere. Please pray for my state and the victims as well as their families.

Our Relaxing Day
Today, we had a relax day. We mainly played Legos all day and we also stared at a spider that was on our glass door. Yea, I know, really exciting. But it was just fun to see the kids get excited about seeing a spider up close that was on the opposite side of the door.... lol.
I also love seeing Samantha love her Legos and want to play with them all day, every day. I figure that if we didn't make her go to bed, she would be up all night, just building. I LOVE IT!
Now picture time. The spider is really tiny, so you might no be able to see it, and if you do, it looks like a little blob on my door.

Amazon Packages
I am finally getting stuff in next school year and also some little goodies for me. Thank you Swagbucks. I swear that website is a freaking godsend. It is helping me get the things I need for my children's school and the things I want.
So let my bragging commence... not really bragging but I can't think of another word for it right now.
The thing is, is that I had to put some weight down on the patches until the glue dried, so I stared using some heavy ass candles and I can only do three at a time. It is freaking aggrevating and I will be learning how to iron soon because my fabric glue is almost gone.
Go ahead and judge..... don't care!!!! LOL

I could not find this anywhere. It seemed like Walmart, Target, Kmart, Hobby Lobby and JoAnn's were all out of stock, so I amazon'd it.
Sammy's workbook for next year
I needed a new tanner. I had been using Jergen's natural glow since high school but was tired of looking like an oompa loompa if I used it a little too long. So I will be giving this one a shot.
I FINALLY got my copy. Last year I bought this book and it took two months for Amazon to send me my money back because they didn't have it in stock, but after I get my ship confirmation and the actual book in my hands two days ago, I was a really happy girl.
So this on a commercial 2 weeks ago and sent Cayce to wal-mart to see if they had it and they didn't. I looked on amazon, and they had a coupon to go with it, so ya'll know what I did... clicked add to cart and went on my merry way.
Now today, before this blog post idea came to me, I took my little bottle of fabric glue and went to town on the Lowe's build and Grow workshop aprons. I know the patches are iron on, but I wanted to try it this way first. To put it out there, I DO NOT KNOW HOW TO IRON!!!!! I will eventually youtube it, but not in the near future. Don't judge.. some people don't know how to cook, or wash clothes. I can't iron and I have a pretty green one sitting in a box collecting dust.

Hello March
It's March!!! This has to be one of my favorite months because it's a green month. That's one of my favorite colors.
Catch up: I am hoping to be able to edit all my posts that are backing up. I have so many written that they just need to be published.
School is going well for Samantha. We have two more months until we need to finish everything and get ready for her graduation. I am starting to plan her 6th birthday. I want another big party like we had for Ariana's 2nd and invite a whole bunch of people.
I just recently found out that a very close friend of mine died back in December and his sister just recently started informing his friends. He had a brain tumor and today would have been his 25th birthday.
Cayce now has bifocals... did I spell that right? Hopefully he will be getting back to work soon.
I am also hoping to get back to my writing this month because he has definitely taken a back seat and I have only gotten around to writing one day last month and it was a disaster.
Well, that's my little monthly update. I will be posting asap.
Have a good day guys.

To My Followers on Bloglovin'
I just want to send a quick shout out to all my bloglovin' followers. I am sorry that my posts are going up super late and some are dated back to December. I have already written these posts and drafted them. I just haven't had time to go and edit and hit the publish button.
Life is hectic as can be right now, and we are still dealing with Cayce's head injury. It's not that I don't have the motivation to post, because I make time out of my day to blog so I can preserve these memories for my kids.
The video posts I post are some of my favorite songs and I want to share that with the world.
So if you can, drop a comment. Come say hey. I would like to get to know ya'll better as well.
Thanks,
Kelly

Fingers Crossed
Today, Cayce had his eye specialist appointment in Charleston. He had to be there at 7:15 this morning, so he had to leave around 4:30. I couldn't go back to sleep after he left because he would be 2 and half hours away from me and the kids and all sorts of crap was running through my head.
This week has not been good what so ever and the news he brings home will determine what will happen to our family.
My stress level is through the roof and I am usually excited about my birthday and Christmas and New Years, but I am just ready for these holidays to be OVER!!

Goodbye November
Well, November has been sort of eventful for our family. Cayce is still out of work but is doing light duty. I submitted Samantha's mid year progress report on Thanksgiving and it made our homeschooling experience that much more real.
The 2 date nights we had this month were well worth it and it really helped take our minds off our current situation and just relax and be together and be content to just sit a watch movies like we did when we first moved in together.
Cayce is rearranging everything in his building outside and making shelves and we are going through boxes finally that have been in our closet for the past 3 years.
We are looking forward to December. We are patiently waiting for Cayce's doctors appointment on the 17th and that will tell him if he can go back to work for good or not.
I have just got into reading The Secret Servant again. I read a good bit of it on Friday while Sammy was doing her quiet time. She wanted me to read with her. I know I won't get my reading list completed by the end of December, but I am going to try to get more books read.

Saturday's Freak Snow
On Saturday, November 1st, it snowed in South Carolina. I AM NOT KIDDING. It started snowing around 8 AM. I didn't catch it till 11, when it turned into rain. It doesn't snow here in November, not in the last 100 years. I only took 2 pictures because it was turning into rain really quick and I was wearing shorts because I had just woke up, and it was cold.
These pictures were taken of the backyard.
Around noon, it turned into a freezing rain, it started picking up wind. The funny thing is, is that it lasted for a good 2 hours and then at 3PM, the sky was clear and blue and the sun shining and it was still cold, but it was bearable. Then around 5PM, it started drizzling again. The weather forecasters say that the ground wasn't cold enough for it to stick, but it did. The snow broke records, and everyone was flipping out.

October BE GONE!
This is the second October in a row where nothing has gone right for our family. Last year, it was Cayce's car accident and no new car for weeks. Now, It's Cayce is out of work, going on week 5 tomorrow, no money coming in, and bills stacking up. I am fed up with the stress and it is definitely trickling over to the kids because they are getting moody and cranky and misbehaving more than usual.
Today, I started Ariana's letter curriculum. I don't have everything I need for her, so I am going to have to make the best of what I can. I'm hoping that this letter curriculum will also help with her speech, because when she went in for her checkup on Friday, the doctor said she couldn't understand 75% of what Ariana was saying. I really don't want to have to put her into speech therapy, so this 1 year deadline the doctor gave us, I am going use it well.
Samantha has completed 49 days of school. She is having so much fun and everyday I am coming up with things to do units on in the future, like gardening in the spring or Halloween candy science experiments the first week of November.
I know I want October to be done with already, but I am also not ready for November to be here because the first 2 weeks will be grieving time for my entire family. My grandmother and great grandmothers deaths. The end of the years are becoming like a black hole for me. The holidays that officially mark another year in my book, making my babies older. it should be a happy time, and I am dreading the next few months overall.

Hello August
It is so hard to believe that it is already August. It feels like this year just started, and in 4 months, I will be celebrating my 24th birthday. This month will be a hectic one for sure. I still have to put Samantha's lessons together, we have a birthday party to attend this weekend for my cousin who is turning 16. I have 10 days to get mentally prepared for Kindergarten. I am seriously hating myself for making myself start a week before the public schools start, but that will let Sammy end the week before they do, and I only plan to giver her major holidays off along with birthdays.
I am hopping to get back into my reading and writing. I still have a lot of stuff to get done before the end of the year, and it will be here before I know it. I also plan to get back to my blogging more.

Dentist Trip: Part 2
So early this morning, I had to go back to the dentist to have a final extraction done. I was already having a rough morning, because I wanted to stay in bed, but I couldn't because this visit was already paid for and I was in pain.
I get to the dentist and walk into the waiting room, and I swear this young dude was all happy and chipper and chatting away on his phone despite it being 8AM. There were a couple of other people in the waiting room and I sat next to this dude because it was closer to the door, and I heard his entire conversation about how he had a vacation the week before, and his paycheck wasn't going to look that great and after he leaves the dentist, that he has to go by Lowe's. 5 minutes sitting next to him and I already wanted to knock his teeth out and tell him to shut the fuck up because he was getting on my nerves.
I don't see how people can wake up so early and have conversations. I mean I have been dealing with this my whole life. I would have to get up 5AM every morning to be on the school bus by 6:30AM and my mom would want to have conversations with me right when I wake up. I AM NOT A MORNING PERSON. I WILL SEND YOU DEATH GLARES!!!!
Thankfully, the dude got called back about a minute after of restraining myself, and it was quiet. I get called back and right away, I think the nurse can sense my tension and they start numbing my mouth with the novacaine. It helped somewhat. I was in the chair for 2 hours and they had to give me so much novacaine. The tooth they pulled was all the way back in my mouth and my jaw it is throbbing.
We went grocery shopping after and then dropped the kids off at my mom's house. It is so peaceful here at the house and I haven't missed my kids screaming once like last time. I am so tired and I am actually taking small naps. Well, they be home soon anyways and then I am putting their butts straight to bed.

500th Post
This is my 500th post. it is hard to believe that I have blogged that many time. even though I have been slacking the last couple weeks, but I have had a lot of stuff going on. The second half of the year will be starting in no time and I will be updating my year to do list, and having some blog changes.
There is a lot happening and I hopefully make this blog more public and start it as a money opportunity to use for the kids school. They have their own accounts now at the bank and they are doing summer reading and every 10 books they read, they get 10 bucks. That money will go towards anything they want academically or interest.
I plan on making a birthday video of the kids tomorrow for my brother. He will be 33 on Monday. I am trying to get Samantha to learn how to sing Happy Birthday. I will be updating my book list on Tuesday and my year to do list on Wednesday. I don't know what we are going to do on the 4th. Maybe the homeschool association will have another cookout. I do have a lot of arts and crafts in mind. This week, I will be recovering my mouth more to get ready for the 10th to have my final extraction.
I am slowly starting to plan and get everything organized for Samantha school. I still have to buy her class shirt and I will be joining the homeschool association this month.

Dentist for Me! Part. 1
Today I had a dentist appointment to have 2 extractions done. It is the start of a lot of dentist appointments for me because my teeth are in bad shape. My appointment was at 8AM this morning, and I was already in a horrible mood. Cayce and I got snippy with each other.
When I got to the dentist office, I signed in and had to wait 30 minutes to be called back. I got situated quickly and they took no time in shoving needles into my cheeks. They left for it to kick in and started work on someone else. They came back and started working on my mouth only to end up having to give me more novacaine. I waited even longer after that, and by that time I had been in the chair for an hour. I was moody, tired, and hungry. My dentist came back and did the one tooth I wanted out of my head the most and started on the top.
The top is hurting like a motherfucker right now. When he started to pull that one out of my head, he had to stop because I was wincing so bad. Needless to say, I got more novacaine, and the left side of my face was starting to go numb all the way to my hairline. He told me that I wasn't playing by the rules and stuck me with the needle, and after I told him that I was a rebel, and that made the assistant and Dr. Hendrix laugh. He came back after about 15 minutes and after ALOT of pressure, he got the tooth out.
I have to go back in 2 weeks to have one more extraction and then I have to go back after that for a cleaning. Cayce is taking good care of me and I am so thankful for him. Now, time to get some rest before Cayce and the girls get home. I am happy that it is summer time and my mom was able to watch the kids for me today while I was recovering.
