TOP TEN TUESDAY: Bookish Wishes

I only have three books at the top of my wishlist that I would love to finally get my hands on. I have been on a book buying ban for most of the year and the only ones I have bought have been classics and manga that my library does not have.

I am obsessed with Bridgerton and these special editions are GORGEOUS!

I am on my Brandon Sanderson journey this year and my library has a massive waitlist for this because they only have 2 copies to share between 8 libraries in my county.

Iron Widow was my number 1 read the year it came out and I have been waiting so long for this one and once again, my library can't buy this one because there is apparently not a big enough interest for it.

Seasonal TBR time and I have a lot of library books out at the moment, so this topic was a piece of cake. I am hoping to get to most of these in the next two weeks, but who the heck knows. I have so much going on like everyone else and reading is starting to slow down and sometimes take a back seat. There are some chonkers on here that I know will take me a week or two to get through because I am not reading as fast as I used to, but every single book on this list is on here for a reason.. either I love the authors previous works, it's a movie adaptation or becoming a movie or a show... etc etc.

HAPPY DECEMBER! 2024 is almost over and I cannot wait for this year to be done. It has been a rough one. Thankfully this weeks topic is a freebie and doesn't require much thought and planning. I decided to share the ten oldest books on my Netgalley shelf because I have a problem. I am not even going to announce my percentage because it is younger than me.... let's just say that.

I will be making my Netgalley a priority next year, so this is the first step in holding myself accountable.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!!! This is a freebie week. Thanksgiving is my second favorite holiday right after Halloween. I always cook a big feast. We grill a whole turkey and I look forward to it every year. My husband makes the best homemade mac and cheese and mashed potatoes. This year, we are going to be sending our three daughters off to spend 5 days with my aunt and her partner. They will be leaving on Thanksgiving and be back next Monday night. This will be the longest that my kids have been gone and I am excited about the 5 days that I will get to spend with my husband because we have not been alone that long since our oldest was born 15 years ago. 

I do have a stack of library books that I want to get to before my girls do get back home, but I know for sure that I won't be getting to all of them because my husband and I will be watching TV, gaming, shopping, cleaning the yard and spending time with our animals. Sorry for the ramble, but I am looking forward to my parental vacation and the books I want to get to.

The top 4 are library books and The Assassin's Blade is my copy which if I don't get to, I will get to it eventually. The library books are priority because their due dates are coming up soon.
