Lowe's Workshop: Toothless!!

The girls had a workshop on Saturday and in honor of the new How to train your dragon movie, they decided to craft toothless. I LOVE TOOTHLESS! Cayce didn't get many pictures during the actual session because the trainer that was supposed to be helping them told them the wrong way to do it and ended up breaking and cracking the legs.

But they still have their own toothless and they made them on Saturday night after our exciting day. We also went to a birthday party for one of my best friend's son who turned 3. That will be posted later. Now picture time!

The patches.

Happy Father's Day

First off, I know I haven't been blogging as normally. I am so busy that I haven't gotten around to it and I think about doing a post every day. I am slowly getting back on track and I am constantly thinking about the upcoming school year for Samantha.

We are slowly working on her prep curriculum and that's not going the best way I want it to. Cayce has to work all day today which is a bummer, but he had all day off yesterday. We went to a birthday party and the girls got to go swimming, and they also went to a Lowe's workshop.

I will post more on those later. The girls and I are making a gift for Cayce. I found it online a couple months ago and loved it. I have a dentist appointment coming up on Tuesday that I am NOT looking forward to, because I know I want two extractions done.

Now time to go back to getting the house cleaned and dinner prepped for when Cayce comes home tonight.

Cayce's 24th Birthday

Well, Thursday was Cayce's birthday. He had to go into work at the store till 12. He got home and stayed home the rest of the day relaxing. He was supposed to finally take our old car to the dealer, but his boss that was going to help him, ended up going to North Carolina.

Turns out that Cayce started feeling really bad after work and started complaining of an itchy throat and coughing. We grilled some steaks for dinner and I made sausage gravy and biscuits for breakfast while he was work and he ate that for his supper. I made him an angel food bundt cake with cream cheese frosting. I swear that is his favorite type of cake to eat.

The girls played with him and enjoyed his time. The next day, he was full blown sick and stayed in bed most of the day. I am REALLY HAPPY that he spent time with them the day before because he hated not being able to hug or kiss them on Friday. It breaks my heart when he is sick and I won't let him get around them, and vice versa. Well, I ended up getting sick on Saturday night, so I had to keep my distance for the past 2 days, and it sucks. I have been lysoling like CRAZY!!

Hello June

I can't believe that it's June already. Can life slow down for a second. I have so much planned for the summer. But I have a feeling that some things are not going to get done this week, because Cayce has given me a cold. I'm trying hard to stay away from the kids and Lysol EVERYTHING!

I have already had to cancel our plans on going to a pool party tomorrow morning because of my illness. But that's alright, we got many more events to go to this month!
