About Tim Daniel:

Creator, writer, and designer, Tim Daniel got his start in comics writing The Walking Dead: Survivor’s Guide for Robert Kirkman’s Skybound Entertainment. (He later became a zombie himself in the show’s pilot episode). In 2012, Tim’s first original comic, Enormous, was published by Image Comics. Enormous later returned to print in 2014 as an ongoing series from 215Ink. Review: I thought the story was OK. I wish that the demons and why they came to be stuck in an airstream was explored more. It would have given the story more depth and make sense. The ending with Helene's mom now knowing her grand-daughters and recognizing her daughter hit a little to close to home. My husband lost his grandma earlier this year to severe dementia and she completely forgot him and our daughters.

Top Ten Tuesday: Books With My Favorite Colors on the Cover

 

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by Jana from That Artsy Reader Girl.

This weeks topic has to be the most difficult one I have encountered so far. it should be the easiest thing in the world to choose books with my favorite color, but the thing is I have quite a few favorite colors and they all depend on mood. I love the color black, blood red and a regular tree green. But them I see ombre colors and I lose all senses. One color that I always gravitate towards without meaning too and never noticed until I was an adult that every single electronic I had growing up was the clear purple or the translucent/ transparent. I was and still am obsessed.

So instead of choosing just 1 color, I am going with all of my favorite colors because I am on this struggle bus.

The Classics Club Challenge: Year 3 Wrap Up

 My third year of the classics club challenge is done and to be honest, I am starting to panic. I have two more years left and I am slacking majorly. Last year I only read 4 books off of my list and I started year 3 with 39 books. I have read 5 more in the last 12 months and there were some big ones.

My reviews for the 5 down below are on my blog and also on the classics club website. 

1. The Count of Monte Cristo

2. Frankenstein

3. Brave New World

4. Gone With the Wind

5. The Catcher in the Rye

Now onto my favorite and least favorite of the year.

My favorite was The Count of Monte Cristo. I never lost interest and wanted more.

My least favorite was my most recent read and I have no idea why it exists because it is a waste of paper and a tragic loss of a tree. That is The Catcher in the Rye.
