Review: This story takes place within a year and a half to two years. We follow two brothers who live with their abusive and druggie father who becomes business partners with the wrong dude. One of the brothers, Ty is bitter about their mom leaving them with their father. Cory is the hopeful one and that his father will stop physically and verbally and emotionally abusing them.
This is told in alternating past and chapters and it was a very great way to get their story told and what and who they were still running from. This is one psychological thriller that would make a damn good movie!!
Stephen Wallenfels lives in Washington state with his
wife. He wrote freelance for the Health
and Fitness industry for fifteen years before turning writing novels. His passions are family, hiking, cooking,
reading, movies, climate change, and especially writing.
