Prep. Curriculum: Week 18

Last week, the theme was ears. It was an easy week for sure and it flew by. She has less than 10 weeks left of this curriculum and she will be off till October. After this, I can focus solely on Sammy's kindergarten year.

Monday:
Early morning school. Still in pajamas!!

Tuesday: The color was PINK! I printed off a worksheet for her to do and she had to circle every pink object that she could find. She did very well on it and I had a happy mommy moment.

Wednesday:
A brown raccoon

Thursday:
She did this page on her own.

Her favorite part of every week.
Friday:
She had a little bit of trouble with this page and it gave me a lot of insight of what we need to work on.

Sunday Family Day

Last Sunday, we had the perfect family day. Cayce and I slept in and the girls played quietly. We played and watched some TV and Cayce went and got us Subway for lunch. After, the girls went down for a nap and I got some stuff done around the house. It was nice that voices weren't raised and hardly any tears and no fights. I love these days that Cayce is off from work.

After nap time, Cayce took all 3 girls outside and banned me from going outside because that was "his" time with the girls. I didn't object. I finished work, got some housework done and got supper started.

We had Chicken Broccoli stir fry for supper. It was delicious and after we gave the girls their baths and put them down for bed. I decided on movie night and we watched The Hunger Games. I fell in LOVE with it. I will post more about my obsession later.

Sometimes, having no plans makes for a great day.

IHOP Trip

On Saturday morning before Cayce had to go to work, he took the girls and I to brunch. It was a great time. The kids ate all their food and I had one of the best sandwiches in my life. He then took us shopping at the dollar tree and we got some much needed necessities for the kids. Now picture time.

Prep. Curriculum: Week 17 (Ariana)

This week was about sheep. She loved it because she kept going baa baa all week. It was hilarious.

Monday: We have the first pink lamb.

This was the favorite book of the week
Tuesday: We went through our lessons quickly.

the shape was a heart this week.
Wednesday:
She did very well learning the letter Q. She wanted to call it the letter P a couple times but after much repeating, she got it.

She now knows this letter and remembers it
Thursday:
Right when I turned the book to this pages she started pointing out the letter q's and went right to coloring. It made me kind of sad that she doesn't need my help that much anymore.

She did this page all by herself as well. I was a proud mama

Friday:

Once again, she did this page by herself. My little mini me is growing up!  :(
