Kindergarten: Week 14

We started the week off with nothing exciting. We did our Veteran's day worksheets today because I gave her Tuesday off. We also had a visit from my mom and grandma and it was my Grandma's birthday, so the girls were excited to see their nan.

On Tuesday, we celebrated Veteran's day. I have mad respect for all service members and I have a number of friends and family members that are/were in the military.

On Wednesday, after we did the morning work, we started off with her puzzle. I have been noticing her slowing down when it came time for her to do it and she has been doing the same puzzle for a good month now. Since we started doing it right when we start school, she has got a lot more done.

she loved doing this math. she did 4 rounds.

On Thursday, we had to catch on her workbooks. When we did the letter K, we didn;t do any pages in her workbooks, so we did that. She also had a movie day with Cayce and Ariana and Adalyn. They watched Kung Fu Panda.

she made an L and she wanted to do it in a pattern.

On Friday, we started off with some easy stuff. Played with dominoes, some quiet time with Lego magazines and puzzle. The puzzle is coming out good. Cayce cut her hair on Thursday night, so she now has short short hair. The pictures were limited today.

there was a whole lot less done on Monday.

Ariana Letter Curriculum: Week 3

On Monday, she did her music and read aloud with Samantha. She loves getting to do some school with her big sister and it is so much easier. I am trying to work on her writing by herself. Every time she has to trace something, she wants my hand on top of hers. I am slowly getting her to do it herself, but sometimes, she just takes to long to just put it on paper.

On Tuesday, she didn't do school with Sammy. She had everything by herself. It wasn't that bad. We worked more on her writing by herself. She did some and then she wanted to take her time.
This is her favorite book this week.

writing by herself.

On Wednesday, we had a long lesson. I finally got Spotify working back on my laptop, so that was great and easier to listen to her music.

I found a cute little alphabet sign language video with Samantha during her school and I saved it, so both girls will be watching it daily and I will be signing along with it.

She loved this book and wants it as a Christmas present.
She wrote more on her own tonight and I couldn't be more proud of her. she did mess up once, but it's all good.

On Thursday, she did most of her school with Samantha. They listened to music. Which was Aaron Copland, Never smile at a Crocodile, and The Grandfather Clock. We read The Caboose Who Got Loose again, at Ariana's request. We also did science. They learned about the cardinal and crab. Every question, I asked them, they got right. Ariana used my pen for her workbook tonight and actually did all the writing by herself and didn't ask for any help.

On Friday, we had a late day. She finally started her Halloween color by number packet. It's not that big of a deal because a page she did in her workbook, she had to color by letter, so it was easy for her because she had just learned it tonight. She has more pages to do.

Lowe's Workshop: Science Lab

It is science week for the Barden girls, I swear. I have been waiting for this workshop since the haunted house one. I didn't know if it would come with little science experiments, but it did and I am even more excited to use it with the kids. I really want to do another science week with Samantha, but I am not sure yet.

each kit came with four experiment cards and they have a little holder on the back,

these patches are so cute and I dislike the color purple with a passion. More on that later.
