Home Depot Workshop

The girls had a Lowe's workshop back on the 2nd of this month and that was the end of their Spring Break. They were also dealing with sun burnt faces, so that's why their faces are peeling and red. They built butterfly houses, which I don't know how that works.

Sammy's nose was the major burn that she had out of all 3 of them. It didn't bother her, but she would pick the skin and hence why it looks bad. She was my little Rudolf kid the past week. 

We are going to be putting a finish on it so we can stick them outside. I have no idea how this thing works. Do the caterpillars go inside and build their cocoons in the house and we have to check them or can the butterflies squeeze through the slits on the front???

Enamored Review

This is a book that I read on the computer. It was listed on Swoon Reads and I read it in one night where Cayce had company over, and I didn't feel like being social. This book was a contemporary and I had to read something because I was waiting for the a trip to the library to get the next book in the Anita Blake series. Anyways, this book was amazing and funny and heartbreaking and cute with a lot of fluff.

This story is about a girl named Rylee who is from New Jersey. She moved to Texas to be closer to her father who abandoned her when she was a little girl. The day she moves into her new condo, she instantly befriends her neighbor who is the same age as her and her neighbor takes Rylee under her wing.

While they are leaving to go pick up some furniture, three guys who are close to said neighbor come up. You would think that they are going to bully her, but the exact opposite happens and they welcome her into their little group. The next night they take her to a party and Rylee spends alot of time with one of the guys Wyatt. This is where the good stuff starts, one of the guys notice Joe.

Joe is the evil psychotic chick in this story. She is supposed to be institutionalized and not aloud in the town. She was Wyatt's ex fiance before she went crazy. Basically, the rest of the novel, Joe breaks into both condos and digs up the neighbors dead sister.

They eventually get pissed off and Rylee goes head to head with her because she basically stole Jo's spot in Jo's eyes, and she wants everything back the way they used to be and she gets arrested again and she is gone forever.

I read this story in 4 hours without stopping. It was so fluffy and cute and funny. READ IT!!!

Freebie Haul 4/4- 4/9

This was an amazing freebie week. I loved my free food and books. Now I just have to go through some old freebies.... (magazines) and purge those because it's piling it again.

Monday: It was a free food day to start off this freebie week. We are playing the McDonald's monopoly game, so we got some free food pieces and survey receipts.

Friday: I got two pinchme envelopes today and they were both for Cayce.

Then Cayce also went and got me another free Big Mac for my supper. I took the survey a few days ago, and we finally had time to go get the burger along with more monopoly pieces!!!

We also had a UPS delivery, and it was a book that I won off Goodreads a few months ago.

Saturday: Today was a magazine heavy day and I got an amazing freebie that made Cayce jealous...haha.

School Week 33 Recap

This week went by super fast and it was super productive. This week was all around great.

Monday: I was ready to get back into the swing of things on Monday, so we had an early start. They did their morning work and we caught up on laundry, since last week was basically a lounge and suffer week. After chores, they did quiet time which we read out loud for the majority of the time.

Then we read library books and Ariana went on to do workbook pages and Sammy did new sight words that are Long A sounding. To end the day, they basically switched what they were doing with Ariana going to her handwriting work and Sammy going to workbooks and working on clock pages.

Tuesday: We had an even earlier start to the day because we had to leave to go grocery shopping before Cayce had to leave for work. The girls love helping during our grocery shopping trips. When we got back home, they did their morning work and did quiet time. They were so tired from grocery shopping, that they were actually quiet and looked at their books. On Sunday, I decided to make this week a spirng/garden unit week, so they did fruits and vegetables worksheets today.

For the rest of the day, Samantha did color by math worksheets where she had to do addition and subtraction problems to find out the color and she also did a color by sight word worksheet. And Ariana finished off the day with copying fruit and vegetable names.

Wednesday: We began the day with a movie. We watched Space Jam. After, we talked about it and they drew pictures from the movie. They then complete their usual morning work. They did quiet time and after that, they worked on a Lowe's kit that they missed a couple weeks ago.

I will be buying them more kits like this to do around home because they had so much fun and it definitely kept them busy.

Thursday: Once again we started the day off with a movie. We watched Looney Tunes: Back in Action.  We had a very late start to the day because I woke up late. After they did morning work and then Ariana did her quiet time first while Samantha did computer work.

When Ariana was done with her quiet time, she went straight to her computer work and Sammy was still finishing hers. Ariana did a good hour and a half of computer work and Sammy finished her quiet time around 5pm.

Friday: Started the day off with a trip to the library. I didn't take many pictures today. While they were at the library they picked out books for next week, because I ran out of time to request books on Wednesday, so next week's library haul is going to be huge. To end the day, they played hi-ho cherry-o.

                                                                                                                                                                    I gave them an early quitting time because this week was so productive and good, that we finished early and helped Cayce finish tearing apart our back porch and adding on to it.

Next week, we will exactly have one more month left of school to go before SUMMER!!! It still feels like the first day and I was running around like a mad woman and then I got pizza goldfish that night as a good job treat.                                                                                                                            

The Killing Dance

Book 6 of Anita Blake has Anita finally getting laid!!!

Before we get into the whole process of her finally getting some, let's go to the beginning of the book. So, it starts off with Anita finding out that there has been a hit contract put out on her. Who tells her and refuses to do the killing... why professional hitman himself... Edward. He turns around and protects her. The moneyman who ordered the hit is so desperate to kill her, decides to start getting sloppy and careless hit men who try to kill her in her apartment first. That is the night she spends the night at Richard's house, but no sexy times.

This book also includes the werewolf pack and once again the porno movies that include the wereleopard leader Gabriel. He has a sick fantasy including Anita, but I won't go into detail on that. Moving on to the end of the novel, they find out who put the hit on Anita, and then said man is finally killed and eaten by Richard. Anita has finally seen his beasts and it freaks her the hell out, and sadly ends the Richard-Anita relationship.

She is hiding out at the circus of the Damned which is the daytime resting place of Jean-Claude and it was Edwards idea of her hiding out there, and that is where she gets laid in the bath tub, by non other than Jean-Claude. Oh, and Anita also becomes lupa in the were wolf pack. To find out why or what that means, GO READ IT!!!!!

March Etsy Haul

Here is another small Etsy haul for the month of March. It's nothing planner related but it The Hunger Games related!! The first purchase is from a shop where I got my Peeta candles from in December. The second purchase is from a shop located in Russia and it's an amazing necklace.

I absolutely love this shop. She makes soy candles, lip balms, and wax melts that are book inspired. This lip balm right here is Nightlock. It's inspired by the deadly nightlock berries in The Hunger Games and it is literally to die for. It is blueberry flavored. I will definitely keep buying from this shop. This is actually the first shop I bought from on Etsy. Check it out. I have already recommended one of my tumblr friends and she made purchases and they are definitely rave worthy.

2. BeeHappyShop

This shop is located in Moscow, Russia, and I fell in love with this necklace the first time I saw it in an Etsy email. Of course it is Hunger Games related because it has Peeta's quote and a little pearl attached to it. I was hesitant about buying from the shop because I didn't know how long the shipping would be and if it would be held by US customs since it was coming from Russia. The second hesitant thought I had was how long would the chain length be because it is not listed and you can choose a chain length option, but I pull it out of the packaging and the length is perfect. I love long necklaces and the charm falls just to the top of my cleavage. She also included a little clay or plastic bumble bee with the necklace that I absolutely loved. Cayce even thought it was pretty and we stuck it to our bedroom mirror.

The necklace and shipping were really cheap. Most of the items in her shop are jewelry and are mainly inspired by Game of Thrones, Once Upon a Time, Harry Potter and some other popular shows/movies.
