Easter 2015

We didn't have a normal Easter this year. We stayed at home and didn't do much. We were surprised to see one of Easter lilies had bloomed.

We spent the morning eating cereal and watching TV. Pretty boring, but relaxing and simple.

Of course, Addy and I had a fun time taking pictures. We seem to do that on every holiday is sit in the living room and just take selfies. We had an unusual Easter dinner. We had BBQ chicken instead of ham, but we had regular holiday sides. While the food was cooking, we dyed eggs and took pictures on the front porch. I did plan on an Easter egg hunt. I had the plastic eggs and jelly beans inside, but we never got the time to go outside and do the hunt.

Our Easter didn't go like I planned, but it was memorable all the same, and that's all that matters.

Ariana Letter Curriculum: Week 21

Week 21 has come and gone. We started the week on Tuesday. She did watch Hop with Samantha on Monday, but we didn't call it school for her. She did  some Easter coloring pages on Tuesday and she listened in on some Easter reading. But the letter this week was "R".

Wednesday: She did her work during daylight hours. SHOCK! I know. But it felt good to be able to have work done before 6PM.
but she did have a pajama day of sorts so....

she loves writing with her mechanical pencils now.

did this all by herself.

Thursday: No school work for her. She had the day off.

Friday: She watched The Smurfs and listened to read aloud with Sammy. She didn't do her workbook today, but Sammy is getting her to sing the months of the year song.

Saturday: She wanted to do her workbook today, so we did.
looking ADORABLE!!!

my little mini me

Also to go with her workbook work, I also let her watch some Letter R videos and she enjoyed them a lot.

Kindergarten: Week 34

This is the last week before we take our spring break next week. So we are going to be doing Easter-y things this week.

Monday: We started today off watching Hop. I wanted to see hottie James Marsden and my kids wanted to see bunnies and evil chicks. LOL, it was to kick off Easter and spring.

After Hop. She is even wearing a cute little spring dress. Long sleeves, but it still a little chilly in the mornings.

I found my graduation gown. I wanted to see how she looked in it, and it swallowed her. I can't find my cap, which was a bummer. Yes, our school colors were purple and gold and we were Barney's. I just wish they still had white gowns for the girls like my mom had when she graduated.

definitely going to keep this for her high school graduation.

Tuesday: We did more Easter worksheets today. And we also worked on our week 13 spelling words.

Wednesday: HAPPY APRIL!!!
More Easter worksheets today. Todays work was basically the same as the rest of the week. She ended the day with her spelling words. She also got to do some work with her daddy.

playing her easter egg die game

we all had bets going on which egg would win.

Thursday: Today we did the same thing, the only thing different was at the end of the day, she played the Minnie mouse matching game.

Friday: We started the day off watching The Smurfs. We read aloud 4-5 Easter books. She also had her week 13 spelling test today. I wrote the wrong date on the paper.

the word she got wrong was the word one, she forgot the "e"
