Monday: I decided to have a little movie in between work to just relax and say yes, and then we went right back to workbook work.
we were looking out the window at all the bugs and butterflies. We didn't go outside because our cat had a little baby snake in it's mouth a couple hours earlier and I didn't want my girls to walk in the tall grass and step on a snake.
looking pretty.
more domino math.
Tuesday: We spent the majority of the day at Target doing some grocery shopping and getting ready for our Cinco de Mayo supper.
Doing our shopping at Target because Cayce had to go and show us everything that he does and learned and his co-workers. SHOOT ME IN THE FACE NOW!!! I hated the whole trip.
holding the recipe up.
She also went to the library to get some Cinco de Mayo books, but they were all out. So we did workbooks and worksheets the rest of the day while our supper was in the slow cooker.
it was SOOOOOOOO delicious!!!
coloring in her new Lego magazine that she got in the mail that day.
she loves this book and it's one of Cayce's favorites too because he is a Tom and Jerry fanatic.
Thursday: It's the second to the last day of school. We are super excited and started early this morning because we wanted to get it done and over with. We did mostly read alouds and I found 2 games on my Tablet and she enjoyed those a lot.
she also built with her Legos. I think Lego are a great addition to any homeschool lesson.
Friday: LAST DAY OF SCHOOL!!!!!!
my gorgeous girl
she has filled her daily chart with 180 stickers for each day of school.
working on her packet that she did on the first day of school.
we got this in the box of books that we got from our pastor and she loved it. To end the day, we watched The Princess and the Frog.
Well, that's it. The 2014-2015 school year is now OVER!!!!!!
I am happy to announce that I will be continuing this homeschool journey again next year. This year was a total success and Samantha will be going into 1st grade and Ariana will be entering Kindergarten.
