The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimberly from The Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
First week of having a small puppy is exhausting. It is even more exhausting with 3 kids homeschooling, 3 cats and full grown dog who all need my attention equally. My free time was devoted to cooking and cleaning and sleeping. Thankfully this weekend I got some much needed time because my husband was home from work and able to spend time with the puppy. So during that free time I finished a book, watched some youtube, and I finally got a video that I filmed back in March edited and uploaded.
I am excited to get back into Youtube in the new year. I have a few more videos from March that were the last ones I filmed this year and then I have a channel and life update planned before the end of the year.
Other than youtube, I finished the book I started last Saturday. Again it took me another week to finish a book. But this time I am so glad that I took as long as I did because I enjoyed every minute of it.
If you have not read or even heard about this book... READ IT!!!! It is about different mythologies. It mixes African, Norse, Mayan, Aztec and Inuit. The main character is Inuit and her mother is an Inuit water goddess. The mix of Gods and Goddesses is something that I never knew I needed. The new book that I have started is the start of another series. I got the second book earlier this year for part of a blog tour.
if anyone has read this series let me know your thoughts and if it's any good.
I am hoping that this week goes a little smoother and that our routine can be more finely tuned. I am officially done with Christmas Shopping. The last gift I bought which was one of the first ones I bought finally showed up way before delivery date. Looking forward to the upcoming weekend as well because I get to babysit the toddlers again while their parents go to their work Christmas party.
Everyone have a good week!

Ooh you have a puppy! Fun times. :)
ReplyDeleteI love the sound of that book with the mythologies
Such an adorable puppy! We had a very little puppy last Christmas and I have sworn that while he will not be my last puppy I will never get a puppy around Christmas ever ever again. It's just too much madness! I'm a homeschool mom too though only of one. I'm always impressed with people who are juggling multiple kids! I hope you have a wonderful week!
