Lowe's Workshop: 2-8-14

The first Lowe's workshop of the year was on Saturday, and my kids were excited about it. It was a Valentine's theme of course, so they made little love note holders. They are so cute, and since my mom's birthday is the day before, we decided to give her one to put on her desk at work. She is head cafeteria lady at an elementary school, and I know she will get little valentine's cards from the kids.

The girls had a busy morning before the workshop, so there are not that many pictures, but the end results were well worth the lack of picture taking by Cayce!

I don't know when I'll start letting Addy go. Cayce wants to wait another year, but I think summertime will be a good time to give it a trial run.

Adalyn's Birthday Pictures

Here are the pictures from the whole day. She had a great day and got a good night's sleep.
we had fruity pebbles for breakfast

she was drawing all by herself. *proud mommy moment*
When Cayce got back from filing taxes, we gave her, her presents. We got her a Dora the Explorer car and a Planes ball pit.
she wouldn't sit on it.

using all his hot air to blow it up

Her hair was so staticky. It was hilarious

I stuck my face through the hole, and she stuck her head through and said peek boo. She was so funny!

she said heyyyyyyyyy.
After she played for a while, she started getting sleepy and it was almost nap time. So we put the girls down and waited for my parents to stop by. My mom came by at 4pm, and my dad got here at 5pm. I didn't take pics of the gifts that she got from my parents. My mom got her a stuffed snoopy that is dressed as a shephard, and my dad got her a Minnie Mouse outfit. My dad brought Little Ceasar's pizza and cupcakes.
Her birthday cake that my mom and I frosted.

My mom feeding Addy a cupcake!

SHE LOVED IT!
After my parent's left, the girls watched Spongebob and I got everything ready for the trip to Wal-Mart. When we were leaving Wal-Mart, Cayce tried the claw machine and he won a green ball for Addy and we bought two movies.

Happy Birthday Adalyn!!!!

Today my baby is 2 years old. it feels just like yesterday, Cayce and I were hearing everything that she was going through in the NICU, and that she wouldn't be coming home soon. Today she is the most hyper and happy little person I have ever seen.

This morning for breakfast, we will be having fruity pebbles. Cayce is going to go file taxes this morning, so when he gets back, she will get her presents and I know she will love the ball pit that we got her.

My parents are coming over this afternoon and they are bringing pizza. Hopefully, my dad won't try to get into Addy's ball pit.. because he won't fit.

Pictures to come, now to spend some time with my little miracle baby.

Super Bowl 2014

I love watching any type of sporting event. The super bowl, is a close second to baseball. I'm always excited to watch the commercials and to pull for a certain team that I don't pull for during regular season. This year, I was pulling for the Broncos. When we got home from the zoo, I was exhausted. I missed kickoff and the first few commercials.

When the game started and Seattle scored right off the bat, I was not a happy camper, and Cayce didn't watch it with me.

Needless to say, this year's super bowl SUCKED!!! The commercials weren't that great. I'm hoping that next years game is BETTER!
