Father's Day Workshop

On Saturday, the girls had a Home Depot workshop. They got to make little cell phone stands for Cayce. They look like trophies and they are adorable. I am glad that they got to make him something this year too.

They were both excited to be able to make Cayce something for Father's day and Cayce is getting good use out of them. Right when he got home, he drilled Ariana's project down to our desk in the living room and he drilled Sammy's project down to the top of our headboard.

Cayce uses Ariana's when we are all in the kitchen or living room.

These are so amazing and very useful!!! I hope Home Depot keeps coming up with more projects like this one.

Paparoni's Pizzeria & Grill Review

It's time for another restaurant review. This time it's a small little place inside a grocery store. I have heard mixed feeling about this place. Some said it was amazing and the rest were that the pizzas were too greasy.

Cayce stopped by the same day he went to Hansen's Triple Play cafe and got my dinner. He got his dinner from here and he got the Philly cheese steak pizza. He saved me a slice for later that night and OMG, it was damn delicious, and it was fucking pricey!!!

Cayce got a MEDIUM pizza and it came with steak, onions, bell peppers and mushrooms and it was $11.99. Are you freaking out of your mind. Your a pizzeria, not a fancy luxurious restaurant. Again, the only time I will be going back is if it a special occasion, like a birthday.

Narcissus in Chains Review

Time for another book review. I am still reading the Anita Blake Vampire Hunter series by Laurell K. Hamilton and I have slowed down my reading a lot. I am now taking the whole two weeks that I have these books and reading them and it is really throwing off my Goodreads challenge. I will be posting two more book reviews this month, and hopefully I can review 1 or 2 more, but those aren't set in stone. I was thinking of making the whole last week of June a book review week. Now onto the review.

To start off this story, Anita has made her way back home to St. Louis and has made contact again with Jean-Claude and the vampires, along with Richard and the werewolf pack. She is thrown headfirst into a bunch of problems caused by her absence. First, she gains a new power through Jean-Claude called the ardeur. It is a power that has to be fed by sex or blood feeding. It is a power that is only in Jean-Claude's vampire bloodline and there is no history of a human servant gaining that power.

The next thing is that a new wereleopard comes into the story. His name is Micah and he is a Nimir-Raj to Anita's Nimir-Ra. Nimir-Ra is leopard queen and Nimir-Raj is leopard king. Their beats instantly attract and around the end of the story, you will find out why Micah really entered the story.

Now let's get to the title of the book. Narcissus in Chains is the name of a club where the story gets its main action. At the beginning, Anita has to rescue some of her wereleopards who are into BDSM and it has gotten out of hand. Along with rescuing her cats, she rescues some swanmanes along the way and gains the trust and help of the swan king. But, after she does that, chaos ensues and Gregory is captured by the werewolf pack for "Anita's Murder". The werewolf pack has taken Gregory as prisoner and cast out Anita as lupa.

The end of the story is amazing. The plot twist of who really is the bad guy, why Micah was in town, why there are new werewolves and why Richard is being a crap Ulfric.

I don't know why people are hating on these books because of all the sex scenes. Sex is a part of life and if you are a grown adult and don't like reading about sex, then don't. I stopped reading this series in high school because it was just too much for me and my friends also stopped reading them because of the sex. I stopped the series after Incubus Dreams which I am almost finished with and the next is Micah, which I am excited to read. I am hoping that I will be getting back into my reading habits with Micah.

Seventh Generation Baby Party Favor Bags

Today, I am going to be sharing with you guys the favor bags that I put together for the Home Baby Party that I will be throwing. I put together 12 bags filled with info cards and goodies that came inside the box.

I first started off with filling the bags with the info cards.

The info cards were a ingredients card, an agenda/itinerary card for the party, a bobble advertisement card with an online coupon code and the coupon envelope.

The next things to go into the bag were the samples.

The samples were Seventh Generation Laundry Detergent and Dish Detergent, Seventh Generation wipes, Zarbee's cough syrup, Bee Happy wildflower seeds, and a Plum Organics Mighty Mealtime pack.

The finished product is making me all giddy and excited for the party.

Hansen's Triple Play Cafe Review

This is 1 of 2 restaurant reviews that I will be posting this month. This is a little restaurant that is in a neighboring town and I was happy to try it out.

 A couple of weeks before we decided to buy from there, we picked up a menu and everything is high priced to what I normally pay at other restaurants.

It took me a while to chose what I wanted, and I ended up choosing the 8oz Whiskey burger. It costed $8.50 and it came with cheese and grilled onions. It was worth the price. It doesn't come with fries, so you have to order that separately and I got the small for a $1.99. The amount of fries for that price was not worth it, but they were delicious anyways.

It was DELICIOUS and the fries were perfect but too pricey. I will be going back to the place but only as a special occasion type, like a birthday or celebratory day.

Small May Etsy Haul

Last month, I only made one purchase from Etsy. I planned on getting something else, but I had bills to pay. Since we finished school last month, I wanted something to help me relax during the summer. I figured why not try some bath bombs. I have never used one and I wanted to really badly. So I found this shop and she has a lot in her shop, so I bought a pack of 12 for $20.00 The shop is called LifeAround2Angels. These came super quick and they were so fragrant. The mail lady when she dropped them off was like these have smelled up the car so much, I need to go get some....lol.

Cayce and I enjoyed our blue bath. It was another first in our relationship and he is wanting more...lol.

So there is my little haul for the month of May. I will not be buying from Etsy for the month of June. I am on a shopping ban. The girls and I earned free tickets to Six Flags over Georgia and we are going to be going at the end of the month with my parents, and I am going to be buying Cayce's ticket along with our parking pass, so that is the reason for my shopping ban. I started this ban two weeks ago after I got my last Amazon package and I am starting to have the withdrawals of window shopping...lol. 

Anyways, please go check out this shop and give this woman some love. These bath bombs are amazing and they are so great at making your skin silky smooth and freshening the smell of your bathrooms.
