We got our front yard looking pretty now. Cayce got around to cutting the grass and cleaning out from underneath the front porch. He also bought some mulch and used some old lumber that we had laying around. My rose bush or what-ever you want to call it, is looking beautiful.
When Cayce took this pic, that little green leaf was a major distraction, so I made him go back out there and get rid of it.
Now it's perfect.
Now I hope we can keep it this way through the summer.

Our Relaxing Day
Today, we had a relax day. We mainly played Legos all day and we also stared at a spider that was on our glass door. Yea, I know, really exciting. But it was just fun to see the kids get excited about seeing a spider up close that was on the opposite side of the door.... lol.
I also love seeing Samantha love her Legos and want to play with them all day, every day. I figure that if we didn't make her go to bed, she would be up all night, just building. I LOVE IT!
Now picture time. The spider is really tiny, so you might no be able to see it, and if you do, it looks like a little blob on my door.

Ariana Letter Curriculum: Week 26
I know this post is actually done on a Friday. We only did two days of school this week. After we finished T, Ariana told me in the most serious voice that the letter "u" was next and I made the decision then that we would only do a couple of days of school this week.
We started school work on a Wednesday. She did 4-5 pages of her workbook.
Our second day was on Friday. We started the day off watching the movie Up on the girls DVD player. The thing is pink, which the girls LOVE and it's from Target, which where Cayce works at now.
I am definitely going to get her started on Monday and try to do school with her everyday next week.

I made it a pajama day. Sometimes just lounging in pajamas all day is the most relaxing thing.

Lowe's Workshop: Mother's Day Planter
On Saturday, the girls had a Lowe's workshop. They built a mother's day planter. It is so cute and it can hold two plants and it has a spot for a picture. There are not many pictures of the building process. Cayce is getting slack in that department. So there will only be 4 pictures.
Sorry that there is not much about this workshop. I did find out that they have made friends with two little boys that go to every workshop too. Samantha always offers to help from what Cayce tells me and I love that.

Ariana Letter Curriculum: Week 25
Week 25 ended today. We had a lot going on this week and we had a lot of fun sounding out the letter T. I don't know how it turned into a sound game in this house but it did....lol.
Monday: *gasps* I know, we started school on a Monday for the first time in weeks...... SHOCKER! We danced and did workbooks and started the sound game.
So we didn't do school on Tuesday and Wednesday. She did the sound game and sung the song quite a bit. So much in fact, that I never want to hear that song again.
Thursday: we did some early afternoon school while the sun was still shining, since Sammy and I got done with her lessons early. She did two pages in her workbook.
So no school on Friday since it was Samantha's last day and we celebrated it with a fun day for Airy.
On Saturday, they had a Mother's day workshop, so that was a field trip for her.
Sunday: So we just got done with her workbook and music, and now I am trying to get this post typed so I can post it. We also watched Rio earlier while Addy was taking a nap.
