Lazy Day

Today has been a lazy day for me.....kinda. I did school with the girls early this morning, because Ghost Adventures has a marathon on and it started at 1:00pm, and I was NOT going to miss it. It's my crack! It also gave me some chill time and I hardly thought about this week at all or the wreck. My anger with Cayce subsided and my anxiety about tomorrow was not thought about.

I was a little angry at 3:00 when Cayce called and told me that he was going to be headed to Winnsboro tonight with his boss man to look at a car. So, I don't know what time he will be getting home, so I have to cook supper and have the girls in the bath before they fall asleep waiting on Cayce. They REFUSE to go to bed without Cayce and they end up falling asleep in the living room on the couch or on the floor.

I'm hoping that the weekend will get better and that I won't have to deal with any crap next week and that it's better for the girls. Also, I'm getting tired more often from this cold weather along with going to bed super late and waking up early to see Cayce go to work. I need to do better because I have taken 3 naps today when I usually take NONE!

Bucket List

I started thinking about my bucket list the other day, and I have started writing things down that I want to do in my life. I had a list when I was a sophomore in high school but everything went out the window when I got with Cayce, which was very STUPID!

  1. Visit all 50 states
  2. Travel to almost every country in the world
  3. Meet the GAC (Ghost Adventures Crew)
  4. Swim with dolphins
  5. Run & pass down successful wedding planning business
  6. Write a book or two
  7. See girls graduate college
  8. Scuba dive great barrier reef
  9. Go on cruises around the world
I will be adding more things to it that I would like to do with my girls as they get older.

Wreck Photos

I am still in shock after Cayce's wreck yesterday, that I can't put words together to talk about it without crying. So all I am going to do today is post photos of the car that I took, and leave it at that. I'm not strong enough right now to talk about it and what we all went through yesterday.

Prep. Curriculum: Week 1 (Ariana)

Ariana's first week of school started off great, and then it ended on a rocky note. Friday was the worst day because she didn't want to do anything.

She loved the theme of the week. One of the activities we did on Monday, was act like a cow and moo. She had so much fun doing it. On Tuesday, we did squares. She knew exactly what is was when I asked her.

On Wednesday, we did the letter A. I told her that she had a big letter A hanging on her wall from papa.

She loves her workbook. It's ALLLLLL hers. On Thursday, we did the number 1. We started her counting book and I made sure that we will have enough room to be able to finish hers.

Reviewing A

On Friday, Ariana was so whiny. She wanted me to help her with coloring, and tracing squares. I knew that she didn't want to do it because she had been tracing squares and coloring on her own the past week.

Letter Curriculum: Week 23

This week was the letter S. I switched the timing of her school this week to happen right after Ariana's school and it went a lot smoother and seemed faster. She loved this letter because it's "her" letter. On Monday, we had a 5:00pm school start time. Yea, very late, I ended up taking a nap, and overslept how long I actually wanted to sleep.
She pronounces skunk as snuck. It's so funny.
On Tuesday is when we did her lesson right after Ariana. I wasn't as tired and I jumped right in.

On Wednesday, we had our science lesson. We learned about squirrels and starfish. She really loved learning how the squirrels pack there food in the cheeks and then spit it out and eat it. She loved making the facial expressions.

On Thursday, we learned about stamps. I taught her about postage stamps, I don't know if I was supposed to teach her about ink stamps, but it's whatever. She knows that we can't mail letters or bills without stamps.

On Friday, we reviewed everything. We ended up doing her school at the original time of 3:00pm because we had such an early morning, that she took a RARE nap. She slept for 90 minutes. Getting all 3 girls to sleep at the same time.. LOVED IT!!
