Library Haul #12

This post is late because of the holiday weekend. I am loving these library hauls. They are a good memory lane backtrack. So, on to the haul>>>>>>

1. Miss Rumphius
I have never read this book before yesterday. It was a good little story and has some very good morals in it.

2. Jerry Seinfeld Halloween
We got this on Halloween. We didn't read it that day but we read it yesterday and it was so silly.

3. P is for Palmetto
This is a great book and is basically an A-Z of South Carolina facts.

4. Candy Eperiments
The first book of this series. I already have the second one and we will be doing some experiments this week. We haven't done any experiments yesterday or on Monday. We did two today and I have picked out a few more for the rest of the week.

5. I Love Rocks
Another book for Sammy to read by herself.

6. Harold and the Purple Crayon
Who doesn't love this childhood classic. I read this yesterday and I swear Sammy was hanging onto every word. It was just too cute watching her wait on what would happen next.

7. Bambi 2
I have never seen this. I believe that all the old Disney cartoon movies should not have sequels. It messes them up big time, but I am going to be giving this a chance.

8. Bambi
The only thing I liked about this movie growing up was Thumper.... that's it. I hated this movie because his mama got shot. I hate sad movies like this. But my kids like this movie.

9. Nickelodeon All About Fall
We are going back to talking about fall this week and next week until we start talking about Thanksgiving.

10. Harry the Dirty Dog
This is another book for Samantha to read on her own. She is getting good at reading sentences, but she is still sometimes forgetting to sound out words and looking to me to say them for her. It is very frustrating.

11. Harold and the Purple Crayon: Opposites
I didn't know that there were multiple books under this title or that it was even a series. I got this one for Addy. I am going to start getting one book a week for her to read along with our books.
