Kids 2016 Advent Calendars

Back in January when I was still watching Vlogmas videos on YouTube, I decided that I really wanted to get myself and the girls Advent calendars for the upcoming holiday season. I went on Amazon, because that is my main shopping place. I love Amazon. Anyways, I did a lot of "window shopping" and put almost every one I saw on my wishlist.

Remember when I said I was actually excited about this holiday season because I didn't enjoy the last two years, well, I was and still am excited about Christmas. I started buying our calendars back in late September. I bought mine first from Boscov's Department Store.

I was super excited to get it and wanted to open it right away. Let me tell you, it has been difficult to hold back every day since I first got it till November 30. The first item that I got was a candy apple scented body lotion.

I love this calendar, but it is definitely not high on my list. The scents smell cheap and I paid a good 20-30 dollars for it. I am not complaining and I enjoy everyday I get to open another door, but next year, I am not getting this again.

The second advent calendar I bought was for Ariana. I got her a play-doh advent calendar from Amazon. I was going to get her a crayola one, but decided on the play-doh because at the time, that's what she was into.

The first item she got was a Christmas tree doh cutter. She loves all the little tools she has gotten so far. The calendar also comes with 5 little containers of pretty play-doh and she is going to get those on Christmas morning.

The third calendar I got was for Addy. I thought about getting the crayola calendar for her, but it was markers and she does not do well with markers. I ended up getting her a Minion milk chocolate advent calendar. She loves Bob!!! This calendar also came from the United Kingdom, so shipping was out the butt expensive, but it definitely made her happy to see Bob.

The last calendar I bought was Samantha's. I had to get her something that she would really love and was it as a "you be good today and you can open it". Of course it was the LEGO City advent calendar. It was the most expensive one out of all four of the calendars. She loves it and looks at it everyday when she comes into the room.

I am so thrilled to be able to see the smiles on their faces everyday and can't wait til Christmas day. I think this will be a tradition that we will keep doing in the years to come.
