August Barnes & Noble Trip

Back in August, when we were still working on summer reading, Sammy and Airy took a trip to Barnes & Noble. South Carolina doesn't have many Barnes & Nobles. The closest one that was in Columbia closed a year ago, and so they had to go to a farther one up in northeast Columbia, near Fort Jackson. Anyways, they took their summer reading with them and turned in their journals. They got a free book each.

They also walked around and picked out some books to get Addy for Christmas.

Then they picked out books for themselves.

They picked out a lot more books, that didn't get pictured. Once they were done picking out books that they would like to have, they went exploring and rode an escalator for the first time.

they didn't really like going down because they felt like they were going to fall forward when they got to the bottom.

When they got done with enjoying their ride up and down the escalator, they went to this race car that was displayed. I have no idea what is was doing there or what the meaning for it was. But the girls loved it.

They loved this trip and have been asking to go back before Christmas to get those books, and to go back on the escalator.
