I wasn't planning on reading this book, and didn't know that I had requested it until I got it. I decided last minute of reading it this week and putting the review up on St. Patrick's day.
It took me a good while to get into this book. It was slow and it kept jumping back and forth between the book plot which was the murder of Mike Sweeney and recipes that the sisters had to bake. It was more like a teenager wrote it because it was very detailed in the clothing and the attitudes were just petty.
I don't know if I will read anymore books like this because I was definitely not intrigued and find out who really did the killings.
The only mentions of St. Patrick's Day in this novel was green beer and that was where Mike Sweeney was killed.
I don't recommend this book, but if you like cheesy murder, then go for it.
